  1. Yeah, I don't find much at all that excites me in the least.
  2. The GM cars I am interested in largely have original buyers in the Grave. The new midsize Canyon/Colorado are cool, and I like the Cadillac design language, but Zero new GM products I actually would drop ink on. Maverick, Ranger and Bronco (full size) the only domestic products I would be interested in. Crosstrek, and Forrester probably the only two Japanese vehicles. Nothing else. Current market bores me to tears. Can't happen to nicer people. Move to a city where you don't need to own one and rent when you need to. Nicely done race car, I like the fabrication work and overall vibe of this.
  3. Would not touch a modern Nissan, but would definitely torch a modern Nissan.
  4. Its scary how bad the ICE quality control is with Kia. New Santa Fe is not bad looking but I would rather shoot myself in the nut sack with a rusty bullet than buy one for sixty months on a note. Most of us here lack much of a grasp on reality, its what makes this place fun. Were we all to have a grasp on reality, we would be the beige Camry owners club. Its passed the F150 as the best selling car for a reason. Everyone I know that owns one loves them. Most of the Kia and Hyundai owners I know finished cashing the check from pick and pull after the transmission went out after the warranty ended. And if anyone thinks I consider myself more sane than anyone else here, Soy lunático tambien!
  5. Those that know me know I haven't wanted to live in the USA for a long, long time, way before trump. Would like to avoid buying another car, and just move out of the US when I turn 65-67 and retire. I turn 60 in September, don't know if going 6 more years without buying another car is legit. I could really see buying something like a police package crown vic just to patch me through until I sell my house and leave the country. I do like the Kia EV's, especially the smaller ones. Watching the EV nine in our fleet and appreciate David's updates. At this point s3!thouse rat levels of insane describes both parties. Spending the 4th hiking in the woods. Loving my Ranger, hitting 115,000 this weekend on it. Its gotten me to a ton of out of the way hiking places, and hauled a ton of lumber. Actually several tons of lumber. That was a good looking out debating me and suggesting that truck for me. The Maverick looks to be a badass choice if I actually buy a new car. Especially now with 4WD and Hybrid being combined. That with an XLT package would make a sweet little truck. We have talked smack here since the beginning, you all are like brothers to me, brothers fight each other. Thankfully in real life, I only have 3 sisters, no brothers. OCNBLU has a favorite truck 54 Chevy. Hard to talk about warranty and 'Blu when the warranty on his ride of choice went away when IKE was in the White House.
  6. Back reading this, the RAV 4 would be worth my time to consider for 2026.
  7. I am surprised they are doing that well. Interesting.
  8. Someone needs to take over the mantle of Tesla. How badly are Tesla's sales actually cratering? Love the color combination.
  9. I went to Lowes to get a few things to help a friend with an electrical project. 50 feet of Romex, 4 boxes, and a few other small items came to $129. If anyone thinks inflation isn't real and a problem, they are stoned. Also, the place is is always swamped on Sundays, it was a ghost town. Attractive Steam Locomotive.
  10. Absolutely. EV's are becoming more popular here in Ohio. I think I am going to make a baby step and buy a Maverick Hybrid for my next car. This thing just has the look....
  11. GM had fantastic red colors in the 1970s.
  12. Exactly why I bought my tickets for my fall trip months ago.
  13. BYD is everywhere in Mexico. And honestly, I saw like 3 Teslas on the road in 3 days in Canada. This is badass....
  14. Same thing here. Gassed up in Detroit, Detroit prices were good. Made it across Canada without gassing up, Canada had terrible prices, over $5 a gallon in places. Buffalo was high, so I bought gas in PA and again in Ohio. Back in Ohio it was about half of rural Canada. Tesla ain't doing well.
  15. The good old days...
  16. Hence my secondary thought of buying an older four wheel drive full size truck. Our second vehicle sees few miles. Our 2004 Aveo has 84 K on it. I am buying so much less. I don't want to support the current system, enough said.
  17. This woman is enormously funny also. More failures from Tesla.
  18. This car ROCKS! In rough times, woodworking, hiking, reading, music, and cars keep me sane. She is one of my favorite women on the planet...I enjoy her humor.
  19. I keep feeling like America ought to have a hand on the hot stove moment, but methinks the whole arm will burn off and we won't learn a damn thing. What the world is becoming here in America, content warning, offensive. Its going to be MUCH higher than that. Much.
  20. We have lost ten percent since January 20th, more to follow. Like I said in the other Thread, Maverick or Crosstrek. I just want something to get me to the next trail or camp site. This comment times one billion, I would upvote this to oblivion if I could.
  21. Not very far, but forest service roads or farm roads. Some heavy potholes, maybe some grass, gravel washouts and the like. Nothing my 2WD Ranger won't handle with the differential lock, but I want to go to some more difficult places-more remote.
  22. I actually really like it. This is two excellent reviews in a row, the Maverick and this Cadillac.
