  1. While I am voting Democratic in the fall, it pains me greatly to think that I could be furthering the union cause by doing so. I also am sick to death of unions. Chris
  2. ...agreed. let them sit home without pay for six months and we'll see how well they feed their kids and how well they make their house payments. Chris
  3. Cool! $1000 Cash towards the Astra or the G6. Now if my Scion xB were only paid off, I would be in the showroom in a heartbeat. Chris
  4. Here is actually to keeping the B-59. That car is really unique and cool, and I personally would be very sad to see it go. Chris
  5. From the front, and in that Color, that Acura is a sweet looking car. Chris
  6. Off topic I know...but, ...and another rare MT Chevy I think I've told Ya'll about before. Back in 69 my friend Alan ordered a new 69 Camaro, red on red, with a 350 4v and a Close ratio 4 speed. He chickened out on the 350 and ordered a 307 instead, but forgot to change the tranny choice on the order form. That was probably the only red on red 307 4 speed 69 Camaro the general ever built! Sadly, Alan went blind a few years later and had to sell the car. Interestingly, he learned to play chess after he was blind and went on to play in the national blind chess championship several years in a row. Great guy! I'm glad he got to enjoy that Camaro before he lost his sight. Chris
  7. There were MT cars in that gen I think also, but again very rare. Chris
  8. White car, black roof, black interior would be fine also. That was the way my 70 Chevelle was done, and I always thought that was a good looking combo. Chris
  9. Wow, a Gallardo! Sorry to hear your car died Lamar, methinks both of us are in for an upgrade. Chris
  10. You boys need to take it out back and duke it out. When one of you knocks the other on his ass, get up, shake hands, dust yourselves off and come back in here and be Civil. Having owned a 70 and a 71 Chevelle with no "B" pillar, I can see Sixty-Eights point. Chris
  11. Given some of the delusional ideas we've posted here, why should we start wanting reality now? Esp. when making stuff up out of thin air is so much more fun. Chris
  12. There is a shop right down the street from Edison Electrical Supply, (down on McKinley) that has about a dozen GM cars like this in progress at all times. Every time I go pick something up for a job we have to go wire, I just want to weep. Today out front: Two Cutlasses similar to BV's. SS Monte of the 84-87 Variety Two Caprices 70's Impala 3rd gen Camaro. This look is sadly becoming very popular. Chris
  13. Doubt I'd leave where you are now, but good luck and like Bob said, keep us posted! Chris
  14. Astra has got to be the most under rated car on the planet right now. GM really did a great job with this one. If the next Cobalt is anywhere near this damned good things are going to get ugly in the small car market. Chris
  15. It's a WOW car for sure, sity eight. and I have regretted not buying a couple of Black on black Monte's. They jsut look "right" that way. My son Joel loves black cars, so this would be a great father/son car for us. Gonna check and see when the auction ends. Chris
  16. Only available in Salsa red though. Chris
  17. I know of a P.H.D. who drives a 3rd gen F-Body, so that would pretty much shoot that stereotype in the ass. Chris
  18. That's an excellent idea. Matt, one of our vendors has quite a little business doing just that. He has a Rolls used in Scarface or some other movie and a few other cool old cars. Coolest part is he gets MORE money out of the vintage stuff. Chris
  19. Jesus that would be so much better. Don't know what anyone sees in the Navi as a prom-mobile, but they are popular. I always hung out with the alternative punk rock/goth type people in High School, and wanted to take a hearse to prom. Now a 65 Caddy hearse, that would be classy AND unique. Chris
  20. Speaking of Olds, there is a 71 Cutty ragtop that has had that treatment that is running around here in Columbus. Every time I see that thing I just wanna kill someone. Chris
  21. If I had the oney to buy a hobby car right now it would be in my garage. Chris
  22. Always liked the Montego. Chris
  23. Sweet! Thanks for posting that. Chris
  24. She's pink for sure. I saw the same thing done to a 59 Buick Invicta ragtop on a local car website. Chris
