The Granada is still better looking IMHO than the Acura though. Chris

Acura TL caught naked
...we all have what we like and dislike. Honda has yet to build a car as good looking as the Mazda 6 IMHO. Chris

Bush is a crappy Republican. Were e to get someone that actually represented the best of republican values, I'd vote for them but McCain and Bush are both idiots IMHO. Chris

A new daily driver for Oldsmoboi?
Seriously, I love convertibles and the thought of a cheap one seems to keep me thinking. Although I'd much rather pay 5k and buy a decent Fox body Mustang ragtop or a 3rd gen Camaro ragtop I think...

Major Camaro Announcement
Yes, I know we were talking NEW, but to me, given the choice of A. G37, new, 35k B. Mustang GT new, 35K or C. Mustang GT, slightly used, 24k, the answer would be "C." Even new to new though, I'd drop 35k on a Mustang GT before I'd drop it on a G37. Chris

A new daily driver for Oldsmoboi?
Never driven one, but seeing nice clean ones for $1500 with less than 100k made me think. Chris

Major Camaro Announcement
Current Caddy CTS-V just ran the 'ring in under 8 mins with Heinricy at the wheel... Chris

Major Camaro Announcement
A prisitine used current gen Mustang GT 'Vert can be had for $24-25k... With a great aftermarket, a TON of whatever you want can be done with the other 10K, or just put it into a Mutual Fund. Pardon me, I'm cheap and love Mustangs. Chris

Major Camaro Announcement
I know someone with a G37, I am NOT impressed with anything Nissan is currently building, for 37K I want a $32,000 Challenger R/T with the Heritage package (coming out in spring 2009), a 78 Camaro Z-28 project car for $3500...and a few dollars left over to get to the track, where I will work on the pit crew of an SCCA Mustang. That should get me the best of all three worlds. Chris

Camaro V6 may well be my kinda car...I like those numbers. Chris

OSM Honda Roadster Unveiled at British Motor Show
I disagree with you on a lot of things, but the Ridgeline and Pilot we can agree on. My wife laughs out loud every time she sees a Ridgeline, she thinks they are amazingly ugly. Chris

OSM Honda Roadster Unveiled at British Motor Show
Actually love the Vigor, have a friend with one and its a great car, an d nice loking in person also. The roadster in the OP makes me think a bus pass is in my future if I'm forced to buy a car like this. Chris

2008 Saturn Astra XR
I am amzed that GM has a 300+ day supply of these...I've seen exactly ONE Astra and ONE Aura on the road in the last 7-8 weeks. Saturn is building some amazing cars and no one seems to notice/care. I would love to have a Saturn Astra as my next car. Alas we just upgraded in the Miata department, replacing the former 91 with a 2002 so I've got to wait until I've got the Miata paid off... But I really am still thinking of getting an Astra. Amazing, Amazing car, and I love the way they drive. The Golf/Rabbit/GTI/Jetta et al are amazing cars also, and I'd love to have a TDI Jetta also...or a GTI. So many cool cars, so little time to enjoy them. Chris

Major Camaro Announcement
That would be the cat's ass... I really like the idea of a hidden headlight modern Camaro.

What is your biggest regret?
I would second this. Chris
-
What is your biggest regret?
Hell, you mention cars from high school and regrets...back in 82 I had a chance to buy a red on red 4 speed GTO convertible for $450 because it had a rod knock...it was a 68 convertible with a white top. Chris

My vacation... Observations... Yes about cars...
No one at all seems to be buying cars, toyota might as well fleet them. Chris

My vacation... Observations... Yes about cars...
Europe seems to get a lot of cool small cars that we don't. I plan to remedy this by putting a GTI or MINI Cooper S in the driveway as my next new car purchase. Chris

A new daily driver for Oldsmoboi?
It's a hot car. Kinda sad other convertibles of the era seem to ahve so little collector value. I've seen really nice Sebrings from the era at give-away prices. Chris

The California Exodus
This is why I like Central Ohio, where I live $275,000 buys a 3000 sq. foot log home that backs to a ravine and sits on about 8 or 10 acres of land. But I would also love to live in Seattle, I hear it is fantastic. It is a trip I intend to make again, I was there once when I was in College and thought it was wonderful. Chris

This is being challenged... Which is good. My 18 year old daughter just graduated home-school high school. Chris
