  1. I have an EGO mower it is fantastic. I would be willing to pay for an electric chainsaw (a second more powerful one) because I could cut wood later in the evening without bothering my neighbors. I think Diesel trucks hit a good price compromise. After owning a Diesel Jetta I really want to own a diesel truck.
  2. This kind of investment shows that people are serious. Kudos to those who want to adult in our society.
  3. I cut good sized logs several times a week for my woodworking shop. I am thinking of adding a 4th chainsaw at some point. I have a small electric and a Stihl MS 170. I want something with a 24 or 25 inch bar length next. Just order it....
  4. Agree. I do think Rivian should do well. F150 buyers different to certain extent from Rivian buyers. That being said...with you looking at new half tons...stopped by a Chevy dealer to check out Silverado 1500. Really liked the interior and the overall feel if the Truck. Think crew cab diesel engine combo sounds good with the 3.0
  5. I may road trip new Jersey...
  6. Trying to figure out which is more insane from Facebook....the marketplace advertisement for a 67 Fairlane convertible clapped out and sans drivetrain for 40 Grand or the question in an overlanding forum I am part of asking about the most fuel efficient vehicle to overland antarctica. Just curious...
  7. My New Bandsaw blade just got delivered...
  8. Thoughtful discussion, the mention the need for Batteries and battery technology....they point out that we spend more on Potato chips than we do on battery technology in the USA...more investment is needed....
  9. Really worth watching...Overhead cam vs. Overhead valve on a motorcycle....how indian and harley market and think differently about bikes. Well shot with good photography, well paced commentary.
  10. Moving that way in 2030, there by 2050...?
  11. One reason I really like living further south. I70 seems to be a dividing line here....up in Delaware or Northern Franklin county, we can ahve an inch or inch and a half of snow. South of I70, it can be clear.
  12. Just a little bit, we had about an inch of accumulation but it is quickly melting off. Interesting fabrication work here.
  13. That is still not too bad.
  14. Sweet. Saw a Westphalia camper van on the road, also a vintage International Harvester Scout parked in my neighborhood. Nothing special lately
  15. Much warmer here in Columbus. "God all powerful can't seem to handle money. Always need more". From George Carlin.
  16. It is a never ending battle. I remember when I started driving, right about 1980/81...just when engine control computers and eelctronics started becoming widespread. People never thought we would get a grip on control software for ICE motors. Now, people want electronic controls. I am toying with the idea of getting a motorcycle....a retro bike with modern electronic fuel injection would be much simpler to maintain that a carb bike. Time moves on...
  17. I really love and respect Mazda ans a corporation, and I so badly want a Miata. Kudo's to them.
  18. Interestingly, KTM has electric bikes available for sale at a local dealer. https://ktmwheelsports.com/Motorcycles-KTM-Freeride-E-XC-2021-Reynoldsburg-OH-455d80aa-c1de-4133-bbf8-ac7e001a4467G
