I think the Impala SS started as a handful produced in '61.

Only thing I see out of place from perfect in these photos is the Z71 decals are higher than the factory placement. This could mean a couple of things.

I'd happily sell it and make more money on it than trading, but I'm within my target trading it in. If anyone is interested, PM me. I may list it here in the appropriate section in the next few weeks.

The Saturn looks like it has a wrinkle in the brown part of the dash, left of the instrument cluster. Odd, if you look at the roof of the Saturn, it is relatively flat, yet the side rails undulate, including the glass. The Concept Quest looks mean in the 3/4 view, with those huge tires and wheels. The concept, sadly, didn't translate as successfully in production. Saturn should have a tiny vanlike thing similar to that concept in production now.

Yup, the Colorado has been recalled for a potentially faulty brake light switch at the pedal. I got the letter yesterday. Affected vehicles will either have inoperative brake lights, or "always on" brake lights. Cruise control will also be inoperative because the circuit runs through that switch. I haven't had a problem with my truck, but I'll still take it in to have it done. It will be 3 years old end of next month, it's a first-year model and this is the first recall notice I've gotten for it. I'd say that's not a bad record, comparatively. I can only hope the new truck is as good. And thanks again, Mr. Fly, for the heads up a while back.

The thing of it is, that voice is very familiar. When I lived in Maryland, that voice and that theme music was all over the TV selling cars, or at least something eerily close to it.
