  2. Yes, I do remember seeing flashes of the smaller rear window and thinking how cheesy it was for them not to care. Maybe that's why he never got a '79, because that nose and tail really stood out and it would have been too obvious when they were using stock footage.
  3. (Sorry, got lost in the moment...) rollerskates
  4. Those are disgusting! Sh*t happens, I guess.
  5. Cool picture of the Corvair. It seems the bare, black steel rim look has some history to it. And is that a straight pipe out the back? There is a silver/red vinyl first-gen Corvair coupe for sale on the road to my mom's. I've been thinking about stopping and checking it out.
  6. Serious?
  7. Wasn't the C2 the '63-'67? Funny, she's not even sitting on the seat. Maybe it was hot that day and she burned her tender little tush on the black leather. my word(s): Corvair Monza Spyder

    Divcos

They had some of those old Divcos at the Hershey Fall Meet. Milk trucks, mostly. Sweet as sweet cream, all of 'em.
  9. Customers aren't allowed to drive their own cars into the shop, that's an old mechanic's rule. It has to be another employee. Viper, can you click on "download" and view it? That's what I had to do.
  10. Cobalt SS/SC That's an interior shot of a C2 Corvette, isn't it?
  11. spinach
  12. Harl: Oh, I'm in the picture thread, way back, and I've posted a (very) few general pics since, but they were always with a borrowed work camera. I recently purchased a Kodak C633, so I'll be putting some pics up once in a while. loki: not sure if that was still the 2.8, or if it is the 3.1. I wonder if a 3800 S/C would fit?
  13. The Astro and Safari were excellent vans in their day, before they got too far outdated. Perhaps the NG compact pickup will spawn a van derivative, RWD/AWD, that will be suitable for personal and commercial use.

  15. I just sent a nice, clear picture of the truck by email. Mr. Fly, please let me know if you get it and if it meets the requirements for submission.

  17. Groundhog Day?

  19. Anyone else want to guess? :AH-HA_wink: That blazing ball of light on top of the hood of the '75 Camaro is a polished blower sticking out of the hood. So, the dude comes into the showroom with his mullet, his do-rag, his holy Levi's and his clapped-out Wolverine workboots, strikes a deal on a tony new retractible, goes in the bathroom, emerges with a ponytail, Izod shirt and Dockers with Ecco loafers, hops in the new car and heads on down the road. The cops will never catch him now. (Yes, I made up this last paragraph, but this is bordering on surreal, I had to snap a shot of this.)
  20. Do I have to rough you up? I want it! Seriously though, z, she is a real honey.
  21. Looks like one of those "Quick Lube" places. The kid directing his coworker into the building looks about 15. I bet the driver just got his license and his work permit. They'd be hurtin' if they did that to my '93 Grand Am.
  22. Oh wow, z. That is a very cool example. Love the lack of a vinyl top. What is that aftermarket-looking switch on the door panel? How much do you want for the car? I'd put a set of Rally wheels on it, take off the mudflaps and switch to different exhaust tips, then I'd be ready to rock and roll!
  23. This is the Cavalier Z24 wagon that is around town, made by its owner, the parts manager at the local Honda dealership: Many moons ago, I told daves87rs I'd snap a pic for him. It kind of fell in my lap today.
  24. I was out today checking out the car lots and I saw this row of cars recently traded: How is this possible? :AH-HA_wink:
  25. Happy Birthday to scharmer05, our dude with the sporty little brown Impala in his sig. Have a good day, sir!
