  1. There is a sizable price difference between G5 and G6 coupes. A fairly loaded G5 runs about $19.5k with 5 speed. A G6 GT with Sport package (six speed manual) will run just about $24.7k. I'd expect a Malibu coupe to run a few hundred less than a comparable G6. I'd love for someone to chop a Malibu coupe. Just put a sporty greenhouse on it, no weird rear end like the Altima.
  2. O.C., you realize Croc is a 73 year old woman, right?
  3. This waiting for Build&Price to be updated for the other half-ton bodystyles is getting pretty tiring.
  4. It was about 65 degrees here yesterday. Predicted storms moving through today with a high of 63, then plunging temps afterward. My sinuses will love this.
  5. Congrats on it, Dodgefan. I like the second-gen Intrepids better than the first ones.
  6. This week's Autoweek magazine has an article about this car. Customers have a choice of vinyl, cloth, or the hardtop. You can get the top model with a cloth top. I am interested in seeing a Limited with a cloth top, hoping that it looks better than the hardtop. (Please... look better.) EDIT: yeah, there's a photo of the car at Chrysler's website with the fabric top. Looks much better, imo. I still wish the G6 could be had with a traditional cloth top.
  7. Oh my God!
  8. That thing is cool as heck. The cyberfuturistic '49 Ford taillights are crazy!
  9. I am surprised to see Saturn on the list, actually. Good job. I am not atall surprised to see VW and Audi up there.
  10. Hmmm... I wonder how those guys got to the show.
  11. Oh, well... if you can only get that color in the Hybrid, nevermind. I need my internal combustion, baby.
  12. Oh man. I am going to have to post a traitorous opinion on this after seeing the 2008 Escape in black and green at other sites' galleries. I prefer the 2008 Escape's exterior style, but I like the VUE's powertrains and interior better.
  13. I don't think I like your avatar, Fordfan1. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. If they do a Fusion coupe, will it be upright and buttoned down, tailored like the sedan, or will it have a sporty greenhouse? This would be cool... Pontiac G6, Nissan Altima, Fusion, Milan... and Malibu coupes!
  15. Bad lighting on that pic, it looks like it's sweating. The C&D pics are much better. The light green one at C&D's gallery is nice looking. I like the new, squarer body with the cleaner side treatment, and the front looks better, more macho. The old one looks timid by comparison. This and the Mariner deserve the 3.5L as the top engine. The Tribute should be given a 1.2L, 58 horsepower 4 cylinder with a one barrel carb.
  16. I really like that, and I think the color is cool, but it looks like the fresh paint was dripping off and then the car ran through it.
  17. I never thought I'd say this, but the wing actually looks like it belongs there. Hot.
  18. The front looks passable, but the back looks like a trashbin.
  19. Kick their asses out of L.A.
  20. Well, we have a midsize sedan, a fullsize sedan, a crossover... we need a coupe or a convertible. Or both with the same model name.
  21. For the first time ever on C&G, I am... speechless.
  22. Can we return to the old days, when shadowy, grainy photographs led me to believe this thing would look decent? I do not like this atall, at least in photos. The Pontiac is much sweeter.
  23. Engineers then need to be judged on the thickness of the lenses in their bifocals.
  24. Irretrievably nerdy.
  25. Sweet little vehicle, nice color. C&D's dig on GM's 3.6L? Unacceptable.
