Paulie, way to go... now everyone who posted a pic is going to tell you his nationality (and you can see which ones like the attention).

  19. It's about 1.5-1.75 hours to Baltimore. I could either go over to York (across the Susquehanna from me), and down 83, or I could go down and get on 95 (prolly a quicker trek). Philly is about an hour East of here on 30. When I lived in Easton, Maryland, I was in a perfect spot on the Eastern Shore... about 45 minutes from Annapolis on the Western Shore, an hour from Baltimore and 1.25 hours from DC... and about an hour from the ocean beaches... Rehoboth, Ocean City, Assateague (naked spot). So yeah, I miss it down there, actually. It now takes me 3 hours to get to the ocean beaches... but only 1.5 hours to get to the campground I like to go to.
  20. That's an early ION interior shot, and a top-of-the-line, SRT-4 Neon shot, not a fair photographic comparison. The ION interior now has a much better looking steering wheel, better color coordination, nicer graining in the plastics and a smattering of brightwork. It really is amazing how little money can be spent to make an interior look a lot better.
  21. I saw an early 80's Caprice parked along a residential street a couple of weeks ago with the whole front clip rusty and warped from burn.
  22. Where in the heck is Scotty when we need him?
  23. To all you mothas out there. Ha. Hey though, what are you guys doing for your mothers today? You'd best not forget her, or she'll "accidentally" put something red in the washer with your tighty whities so they come out pink! For the last few years, I've been taking my mom to Baltimore's Inner Harbor for lunch at Legal Seafood, then a stroll around the harbor attractions. This year it's cool and cloudy with the threat of rain, so we're sticking close to home. I just hope we can find a restaurant that's not packed.
  24. There are plenty of stories of infighting between the divisions of GM. The relatively few I've read about are fascinating.
  25. Paternal grandfather's side of the family came here in the 1840's from Germany. Maternal grandfather's side came over in the 1700's from England, I presume, last name, Adams, and we're descended directly from the presidents. Paternal grandfather's grandparents owned the largest brickyard in Lancaster, and the majority of the old rowhouses in the city are built with bricks bearing my last name. So, family fortunes rise and fall over the generations, for sure.
