  1. Dang, I love those owl pictures.

  3. It turned out really nice, daryl. I'd put the GMC grille back in it, though, but I'd paint it the same silver as your hood and roof. That would brighten it up over the stock, flat silver.
  4. It needs a NACA duct hood. I always liked that color. Good luck with it!
  5. Check it out in person before making a judgment, bowtie dude. Sometimes the simplest of modifications can lend a whole new character to a car. I hope.

  9. I wonder if those two sound the same when you crack them open?
  10. XLR should certainly have a similar "custom color" program to Porsche and BMW, where your car can be custom ordered in any color the customer chooses. It certainly would lend an air of exclusivity to the car.
  11. Hmmm... Saturn Signal... has a nice "ring" to it. Paint the car bright orange and it could be mounted in a '59 Buick's grille as a Turn Signal.
  12. Silver '06 Topaz. No wait... Milan, that's right. Sorry.
  13. Croc after lunch..."burpMEOWWW...."
  14. Oooo... the Harvest Beige Bug looks good, I haven't seen any hardtops that color yet. They have a new green on the Bugs this year, a little more silvery. I like it better than the old green. The Harvest Beige is most certainly a throwback to the 60's... who hasn't seen an old bug in that color? There were also a lot of red ones similar to the dusky red on the '06s as well, and baby blue... when we gonna see that color on the new Bug? "Vapor" was just too pale, does anyone remember that special edition color? It was the palest blue... everrr. I actually saw a C5 'Vette that color once in Ocean City, MD. I would like a more upscale, vibrant color palette from GM. Colorado/Canyon comes in some pretty pathetic colors. I still prefer my green to any current color, except maybe Superior Blue, and that's gone for '07, I guess.
  15. Are those skinned, boiled kittycat heads?
  16. Ravenfreak... how old are you, sir? "Corsica" certainly never entered my mind in connection with this car... but, Corvair Corsa certainly did, and that was a much cooler car than this little guy. I wonder if a convertible is in the works... it could be a Corsa Spyder.
  17. I love toys, I ain't gone lie.
  18. Please don't put them under the hood, Nicky boy. Hey CB, thanks for that 4:22 post. Funny! You're sly. Croc, I thought of the same thing you did the moment I saw that. I didn't do anything special last night. I was in town. It was a warm night, and there were a lot of people walking around for First Friday, when all the downtown art galleries have open house. Cafes set up tables on sidewalks, a couple of places had live acoustic music outside. Franklin & Marshall college set off fireworks as I ventured home. I stood on my deck and watched them wind down. It would have been so much better if someone were here with me.

    Get In Chat

Ok, I'm ready. Where is everyone? Kidding. I've been having some computer problems the last couple of days. Hope to see y'all in the room soon.
  21. Yup, that was Mr. Fly and I think the car was a Tatra.
  22. I say bring it here, with a gas-sipper gas engine, a little torque-monster diesel, and the turbo. As the smallest Saturn, and with that range of engines, it stands a good chance of doing well.

    ...

I'm happy so far. I like the upright grille and non-angry (but still dead serious) face. Of course I'm more interested in the 1/2 ton, but these photos bode well.

    Classic Malibu

That's a '66, one of the most popular years of Chevelle with musclecar enthusiasts.
