  1. Once you treehuggers see what the Bolt can do, you'll leaf Datsun in the dust.

Hood's too stubby. Windshield is way too far forward in relation to the front wheels.

    Continental Uncovered

Well yeah, FWD proportions and their economy car roots can ruin a promise. In its defense, slab sides help make the '61 Continental a lasting classic, although I don't believe this new one will come close in its wildest dreams of matching that car in any conceivable way, shape or form. I also like the taillight cluster, brings to mind Lincolns of the past... for me it is the Mark VIII. And the door handles are cute. Sigh, that's all I got to defend it at this early juncture.
  4. Not exactly raking in the profits on these, are they now?
  5. This just deepens my suspicions of the bozo at the top. Just putting this out there is an attempt to discredit a fantastic, solid, authentic product that needs NO tweaking. Except maybe for the V-Sport thing. My opinion was decided with the New York thing, and solidified with all the blather about the new, ridiculous naming scheme.
  6. Very cool, thanks for posting! Best of luck in this venture. Now let's count down the seconds to a post by Booyah.
  7. Cool stickers, bro.
  8. I think you mean Journey. The Avenger was a small midsize FWD sedan that was discontinued a good while back.
  9. Good training. I turned it UP.
  10. The Encore is a sweet means of transport. Good choice sir.
  11. I downgraded from auto to bicycle. I posted a pic of it before. It's a red menace, raging blood lust. Actually it's a 1994 Giant Perigee Custom build with original/stock equivalent drive-train but everything else performance upgraded. Yup, I reduced, reused, recycled and reduced. I made the ultimate beneficial choice in terms of carbon emissions, and that means outlays of funds for maintenance of this lifestyle are few and far between. You need a nice tofu smoothie and a 2016 Camaro SS or Mustang GT to calm your nerves. Have you been on Santa's lap yet this yerr?
  12. Turnt on puter this a.m. and it went through about 4 rounds of updates, now it is back to normal. Every time it needs to run updates since I installed #10, it goes all crippled instead of just telling me or doing it on the next start-up. Silly.
  13. I say work on carpentry for COE. Perhaps a nice, oak stake body?
  14. Well I hope it comes in a TDi version for practical people.
  15. Nobody buys hybrids. Why are they even bothering with this crap? And my post about the honking V8 Malibu was only an ardent wish, not a joke directed at anyone, I know it won't happen in our Chicken Little world.
  16. Anyone having issues with Windows 10? Periodically my sound goes mute without any input from me, plus my Windows button at the bottom left corner of the screen for startup/shutdown/restart is inoperative. If I shut down the computer a different way, then it is screwed up when I restart.
  17. Gasoline is predicted to be priced in the low two dollar range for the next 46 years. What we need is a Malibu with CTS-V power, and a price tag of $28,644.
  18. That reminds me, we haven't seen Wings or his best bud in a while.
  19. Yes but don't eat cows. Or pigs, or chickens. They poop and produce methane that is the single largest contributor to "global warming" or "climate change" or whatever they're calling it this munt. Cars are in comparison angels, so yes, from a carmaker's point of view, "global warming" is a crock of shit. Furthermore, "cool and desirable" is a matter of opinion. And everyone has one.
