Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM
ocnblu replied to G. David Felt's topic in Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
Well, we better round up those broncs then -
Southern Style Sunday Dinner: fried Spam, a mess of spinach, and scratch-made (no box!) honey cornbread. Another dinner plate, in reply to numerous requests.

The "Cadillac" script is visible on the fender, and the greenhouse gave it away. I am concerned, now that I posted, that the middle bodyline on the door goes to the end, and the '54 in my photo only goes about 4/5 of the way back. Hmmm...

I like the Trax too. I think mom's problem is the lack of "cool" color choices. She's obsessed with orange cars right now. Venue is not offered in orange in the U.S., but she would take an Apple Green one. Soul is offered in Mars Orange, but she thinks it is not orange enough (looks red to me!) She really likes Nissan's Monarch Orange, but the base model Kicks is relegated to white, silver, gray and black, sadly for her. Seems like a GM move.

Jeep News: 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Shows A Green Side

Do you know how feminine this post sounds? You downvote every post I put up anymore. It's a bit much, like... stalky. I like Pontiac Firebirds from 1970-1973, and long walks on the beach at sunset, or hikes in the woods without a banjo soundtrack. Do you like steamed chicken and rice? I do. Call me! -

Cool, looks like they're already producing accessories for the 4Xe, since it has a paltry amount of LOCKABLE CARGO CAPACITY. -

He's not as dumb as you. He's the brother of the owner of our company. And he does a great job. You on the other hand have zero credibility. Paintless Dent Repair You can bet it WILL be mentioned in "cons" for the 4Xe by the ppl who will be conned into buying one. -

Our PDR guy has a Rubicon 2 door, the whole cargo area is taken up with wooden racks for his tools, etc. OLDS, my ankles are getting raw from all the nipping. You don't believe me about our PDR guy? Weird. -
Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM

Sure, for first "owners" (no one wants to buy a car that will be obsolete in a year anymore) but what about the poor saps who fall victim as second owners? -
Well, the lease return fee takes effect if she dumps it at the dealer without getting into another Kia. Sneaky, like a $400 extortion.

You're soooo omniscient. *takes a knee* -
Seems like it was doing it today again, it depends on throttle position, incline of the road, etc.

800 pounds HEAVIER than the normal version? What a joke, how is that even remotely a good idea in a Charger, which is already criticized for being heavy, or a Ram truck, where it would trade off hauling capacity? The Wrangler is already not the best when it comes to cargo capacity. For customers who value that in a wagon/SUV, the 4Xe is an awful choice. -
Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM
ocnblu replied to G. David Felt's topic in Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
Imagine the conversations in here if an ICE engine lost 40% of its capacity to function after 8 years or 100k miles, whichever came first. That is GM's guideline for "normal operation" on Bolt's battery warranty. And it's one of the better ones! So lame. And a potentially huge expense down the line, which points both fingers to the fact that EV are as throwaway as that Apple phone, but WAY, WAY more expensive. It used to be, auto companies were planning obsolescence on the basis of body styling, primarily. Then, yearly styling changes waned. Now, with the average age of vehicles in the U.S. going up and up, planned obsolescence has pretty much been blunted with longer product cycles and improved long term mechanical quality/durability. This warranty chart is a pathetic shine of light on manufacturer's expectations... a sad "new normal" of a vehicle's average lifespan, because c'mon man, nobody's going to replace a battery at their own expense, the car will be junked first. -
Ooo... snarky. Not worth taking your misogynistic bait. Thanks for clarifying your position though.
