  1. Coolness... but... please don't tell me it has an Olds 5.7 diesel (which was available in G bodies, although I don't think it was in the El Camino.)
  2. Cool Rueben! The 3-door looks good in blue with black leather. Looking at the picture of the red 3 door, up close looking toward the front, you can really see Cobalt in the top rear corner of the door cutline, and the black tape applique. Interesting.
  3. Those chicken fries are dumb. They're all breading, with like one molecule of "chicken" somewhere inside, like a needle in a haystack.
  4. Why Satty, do you have some candy in your pocket for that cute little boy down the street?
  5. wouldn't you really rather have a...
  6. You'd be in BIG trouble if you bought yourself a Challenger. I'd be AT YOUR HOUSE that same afternoon to yell at you in person, then steal the keys. P.S. - notice that new RWD Hyundai coupe is being compared to the legendary Mustang in that styling clinic pic. It's the best looking Hyundai product I've ever seen, and with the 300+ horsepower V6 and six speed manual, all I can say is, look how far they've come since the crappy Excel.
  7. G8 does not hit the sweet spot as a Pontiac, at least styling-wise. It does make a goodlooking Holden, make no mistake. I don't even know what other Zetas are still on, save the Camaro. Hope and enthusiasm seems to be waning. I'm in a funk.
  8. I am happy with a victory for any of our beloved Big Three.

  10. To this Joe person ------> for the John Deere combine pic.

She needs help, no doubt, but her pervasive problems are not without precedent. Other female Blues singers... Billie Holiday is one famous example, have had substance abuse problems. I am not defending her, she needs her ass kicked, because her voice is a gift. I still love her "Back to Black" CD and I hope she can bounce back and give us more along those lines in the future.
  12. Pontiac's journey since GM's misguided "FWD for everycar" edict started in 1979: from distinctively (yes, sometimes to their detriment) styled cars hamstrung with corporate FWD chassis to invisibly bland cars with fantastic RWD driving dynamics... Pontiac fans are, sadly, always left wanting. A shame.
  13. Crazy! And cool. This thing could turn me into an eco-weenie. Love the Bus references.
  14. dehumidifier :AH-HA_wink:
  15. OMG that's ugly, and only makes the 900 SUVs look even better.
  16. Go Chevrolet! Go VW! I am personally happier that Toyota products are not on the list than Hondas. I have a strong dislike for Toyotas... I don't mind Honda products as much.

  18. Yeah, I like my cake with nuts too. See, we have something else in common, smallchevy!
  19. My overall average after 11,900 miles, according to my DIC, is 16.3 mpg, down from a high average of 16.5 mpg with summer highway traveling. I drive to and from work 5 days a week, all urban, and only suburban driving on the weekends. Barely any extended highway driving this time of year. Last time I actually measured a single tank was 2 weeks ago... 14.3 mpg. I have the 5.3L AFM with 3.42 locking rear end, regular cab 2WD shortbed. AFM hasn't been much of a help for me with my kind of driving. I was hoping for better fuel mileage. My truck was rated for 16/22. I do believe the GM fullsize truck is the best in class for real world mileage, though, especially over the Dodge, less so over the Ford. I have to face reality here... a fullsize pickup truck with a V8 engine will never be a mileage champ.
  20. I don't want to have too much of a Fit over this, but YARIS, look at the front overhang in the full profile shot! Still, it's a Versa-tile little car, I just wish a 3 door were available.
  21. Agreed.
  22. Yessir, thanks for posting all these pictures, Superfly.

  24. Cory says he'll go ahead and bring his Enzora lifesize cardboard cutout if the real thang ain't showin' up.
  25. Congratulations, Papa Dave!
