  1. Heck I'd take one if it had a current Chevy front clip, a rightfully spunky Ecotec, a manual transmission, and AWD.
  2. drum
  3. And the photos posted here a while back of the next-gen Fit further cement the car's status as nicest-in-class, imo.
  4. Awesome ad! Too bad the car was such a shadow of its former self.
  5. It's too early to be heaping such criticism on this vehicle. I look at the new CTS as the second rebirth of sexy, attractive Cadillac styling, and I expect every subsequent Cadillac to build on that, including this small crossover. The front end covers on these prototypes can give hints to design, though, with the cutouts for lights and cooling. The headlight cutouts appear to suggest a more horizontally-configured headlight, as opposed to Cadillac's current, stacked theme.
  6. Well now, where'd you get this idea?
  7. :AH-HA_wink: Well thanks for the compliment, Mr. GMTG74.

    My new ride!

Nice, but I always cringe when I hear of someone getting a crotch rocket because of the danger involved. Please be careful, Nick. Those things are so quick, you could lose it in a second, and unlike in a car, if somebody hits you, your chances go way down. This is not to rain on your parade, I am just being honest here.
  9. The resemblance is there between the new big Hyundai sedan and the BMW 5-series. The way the hood cuts around the top of the headlights, that radius, is definitely cribbed, and it is a noticeable feature. For all of the (some deserved) bitching about the Bangling of BMW design, there sure are a lot of copycats out there.
  10. pig
  11. If I wore any, I'd get some Holden underwear, one pair for each day. What I wear on the outside should match the task at hand, but I'll always have Holden underneath!
  12. Whoa... baby got back. I bet you'd like to tweak that too, wouldn't ya.
  13. All those pictures in the gallery showing it parked uphill make it look like it's sagging under its own weight. It is a big, soft blob... z put up a perfect comparison photo... a hippo.
  14. Whoa, I just saw something that sort of blew my mind. In this thread above, I sang the praises of the newest RWD Hyundai coupe, mention drifting and Datsun 240SXs. My post appeared last night. Just now, I read a new (first time I read it, didn't see it before now and check the site at least once daily) article about that Hyundai at Autoweek.com... that mentions drifting and 240SXs! Seems an awful unlikely coincidence, or maybe I'm dreaming... article
  15. Diehard, I think you can get the G8 interior in all-black, you don't have to take the black/red. I prefer the all-black myself.
  16. My idear of a Monza hatchback project would include a stock body and interior, canyon carver suspension with maybe 16" rims (if they fit where 13's normally reside), and perhaps an '08 CTS 3.6L DI/manual six speed drivetrain.
  17. Who are you really, Bob Luts?
  18. Doesn't look bad in these Autoblog gallery photos from the show stand. It even has a junior version of the new Corvette/Impala LTZ/Cobalt Turbo split-spoke rims: aquaboy!
  19. Um ok Charo. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. I am still hoping for an NA-built G8 with sexy sheetmetal myself.
  21. Oh, don't get me started on '78-'81 Malibu coupes... LOVE 'em!
  22. God, I would withdraw my idear if I thought that, that is scary. Hmmm... Chevy El Chico? :AH-HA_wink:
  23. Click on the link I added above, Diehard, see what you think.
  24. There is a new version of the Daewoo coming, if it is not already out. L4X
