I love the look of cedar siding - naturally aged. I hate paint and synthetic colors/materials. Even better is redwood.

My first Malamute "retrieved" a large toad... he regretted that.

That was the only reason I could think of, but it was so strange to see so many of them in one local area.

Even stranger was the fact that all of them were white, it almost seemed like a cult thing. One of them was a burned-out hulk.

Had to remove the body from the scene of the crime this morning. Pretty big critter. No sign of any injury to Zora, but this sort of thing makes me nervous about disease.

During the trek up there today, I kept seeing full-size vans with porthole windows in the back. I haven't seen so many since the 70s, what's up with that? And they were all plain white work vans, not custom vans at all. Very strange. I didn't even think anyone still made those things.

Did manage to see an awful lot of interesting cars hanging around out there though. More Benz SLs of all vintages than I've ever seen in such proximity. And two Healey 3000s to name just two.
