No offense intended,DF - really. The stuff just makes my skin crawl. As for quality of plot, etc., I wouldn't know. I'm not a big fan of animation generally, and what I've enjoyed has all beem humor-based. I'm quite happy with Bugs Bunny and Ren and Stimpy, for serious stories I look elsewhere.

Oldsmoboi: Yes, I do plant trees as part of my living. However, I remember participating in the very first Earth Day at my elementary school, we planted a tree and made the evening news. :AH-HA_wink: Thus my comment. Ocn: be careful with those Leylands, they don't take well to snow load.

Ocn has hit the aspect of this that disturbs me most, I guess. That combination of sex and childhood that comes across in anime, it just strikes me as pedophilia. Add in the feminization of the male characters, and the disturbing faces with the outsized eyes - and I just get a case of the willies from it.

True. Especially for what you get. As a car ( not a godsend hybrid magicmobile), the Prius is crap compared even to similar compact sedans.

Well, the consensus seems to be that the Camaro interior is equal to, or better than, its competitors - so maybe GM has it just right.

I felt the same way about it as you and Balthazar, and PCS. Until my friend badgered me into it. Now it's kinda nice the way I have it setup, so that a bunch of old friends are now in touch with me again. We never e-mailed each other, and were slack about calling, and are spread all over the country, so being in touch isn't a bad thing. That said, all of the extra BS on there still turns me off.

The funny thing is, Arkus is insecure about not being locked into his crate now. Everytime I get up to do something in the house, he runs to me and then into his crate, sits down, and looks at me expectantly. So tonight I gave him his treat and closed the door of the battered crate before I went to Wawa. When I got back he was still in there lying down comfortably. He's in there now, cool as a cucumber.

Yeah, I had some e-mail exchange with a bigtime breeder/trainer who has put some great info online. His assesment was that they can never be together and that the behaviour cannot be "corrected". His advice was to find one a new home, which I tried to do back when they were only 9 months old. Since then, dealing with this has been a huge drain on the experience of having them. Bad for all three of us, really.

I was recently badgered into joining by an old friend. It's not my sort of thing, but it is nice to be in touch with a crowd I have history with. I do use a psuedonym, becuse I am not looking to "network" with people I don't already know.

Incredibly sad story. I do wish that A and Z were devoted to one another like that - but that's only a wish. The reality is just the opposite.
