  1. I need better pics to be sure, but Karma really looks like a dark blue-green which is Very Pontiac. I think I want it for my ST.
  2. *bump* (Moderator fringe benefit :AH-HA_wink: )
  3. Karma and Voodoo http://www.g8board.com/forums/showpost.php...mp;postcount=28 I really like Karma. If you want to see the rest of the colors G8 is missing out on, here's a link to that whole thread: http://www.g8board.com/forums/showthread.php?t=693
  4. As good a synopsis as any.
  5. OK, I'm going to lock and sticky this thread. Anyone affected please follow the link in my last post above. We will get this worked out.
  6. Thanks!
  7. If you are one of the people who paid, but did not receive a calendar, please go to this thread. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=22455
  8. If you ordered and paid for a calendar, but did not recieve it please post what you ordered, and how much you paid. We need to get a list together on this. Please do not comment in this thread, I want this to be reference only so the staff can deal with this. If you want to comment on the situation, please start another thread here in the feedback forum. When you report, please also tell us your name also and how you paid (check, cash, PayPal). Send the PM to multiple admins (myself, Northie, Z, etc) so that we can all receive the PM. Posts that are comments will be deleted from this thread. Thanks.
  9. Mod forum, Northie. When more of us are on we can address it.
  10. It would have to pick-up some Escalade styling cues, I think.
  11. One way or another we will resolve this - but it may take some time. If I have to pay you guys back out of my own pocket , I'll do it - but that will definitely take time. I wish I had answers to give beyond what I've said above, but I simply don't have them. Hang in there, we'll figure it out.
  12. I just bought these on ebay and I'd like to see a chopped image of some different colors on them. Can anyone help me out here?
  13. Both of mine were M6 cars. As for mileage - I never really checked, but many owners report easily getting high 20s highway and quite a few claim better than 30 at a steady cruise. So they can do very well on mileage - depending on the weight of your right foot.
  14. Saw a black VW Phaeton yesterday.
  15. Well, I did say it was confusing. :AH-HA_wink:
  16. Trust me on this one,Supersport. You will fall in love with the T/A. But I'd recommend a Firehawk version. :AH-HA_wink:
  17. OK, I know this has been confusing from the start - let me see if I can clear it up. Do you remember when Zeta was first put on hold to push the 900s ahead? At that time Scott said something to the effect of "Have Faith, Zeta was just a name." Here's the deal, at that time Zeta was being developed by Holden and the version which eventually became the VE was deemed too expensive and too heavy to underpin the GMNA-built models. But yes, VE is Zeta. Enter Camaro. GMNA made the changes to the VE version of Zeta they required and the resulting platform became known variously by the names ZetaII, or Zeta-lite, and then officially as the "Global RWD architecture". When it comes time to update the VE, it will be brought into compliance with the GMNA version making all of these cars the same worldwide. In common discussion, all of them are known as "Zeta". As of right now, however, the Camaro and the VE cars are not exactly the same underneath. Hope that clears things up for you.
  18. Saveable, but not worth the effort - retire this one.
  19. It might be different if Chevy had gotten a new Chevelle instead of the Camaro as they had considered at one point. If Chevy had gotten an El Camino rather than giving the Ute to Pontiac, it would have been different. As things are however, looks like Pontiac will be keeping me as a customer. With the purchase of a new G8 ST GXP, Pontiac will tie with Chevy for new car purchases by me (not counting my 01 Silverado which was a company truck before I bought it- it was always mine and I ordered it/spec'd it out).
  20. Best yet!
  21. You're getting caught up in terminology here, VE is zeta. The underpinnings of the Camaro are a modified version of the VE zeta. At the first refresh, VE will cease to exist and Holden's zeta will then be the same as GMNA's version.
  22. Cylinder deactivation is now known as AFM (Active Fuel Management). It is spreading throughout the 900s as we speak. I truly believe that time is running out on the Escalades. The had a good run, but CAFE and a shifting brand focus will kill them sooner or later. The name could remain though, imagine the next gen Escalade EXT being a Caddy version of the Denali XT. It already has the midgate.
  23. That my last two new car purchases as well as my next planned purchase have all been at Pontiac. Not too shabby for a "damaged brand" in less than a decade. I've always been a Chevy guy, but since 2002, Pontiac has had the magic combination to pry money from my pocket.
  24. It seems at least some folks at GM are thinking about zeta the way I do. The GMC Denali XT concept exceeds my expectations.
