  1. It's just time to replace oil, not limit our choices. Yeah, I'm going to be stubborn about that.
  2. Your post is already gone over there.
  3. That reminds me: saw a red Ferrari 308 yesterday at the Wawa.
  4. I don't commute in the general sense of the word. I go where the job of the day happens to be. My Silverado works for a living, and until recently, I drove something else for errands or fun. I'm one of those folks who must have a heavy-duty truck to make a living. It is my most critical tool.
  5. Post it in the Tundra thread over at CZ28 or register at tundrasolutions.com.
  6. I'm very happy being an exception. :AH-HA_wink:
  7. Keep the truck. Trust me on this one.
  8. No, not really. Fortunately, I'm pretty good at dancing that dance.
  9. About that...
  10. I should do some similar Silverado pics - with plow, for example.
  11. And an extra, unexpected sale? :AH-HA_wink:
  12. Bah!Hogwash! The truck will be just fine.
  13. Nice!
  14. Repairing a rad support is stupid, who does that?
  15. Let's not go there guys.
  16. The Cobalt has to be looking pretty bad about now.
  17. You can tick-tock the asinine alphanumerics all you want, just leave the cars themselves the hell alone!
  18. Ouch! Substantial damage for sure - but hardly fatal. Looks like the framerail might need to be checked, the rest looks to be paint and bolt-on.
  19. It blows my mind that these people look to urban environments for solutions. It is such environments that produce so much strife in the first place. It is simple really, too many people, too close together always fosters crime and depersonalization. Even the gated communities in upscale neighborhoods suffer from this herd mentality with restrictive rules via homeowner associations. I can't stand that kind of crap. I'm going to live my life as I choose.
  20. Saw a very clean 75-77 Nova coupe in black moving along at a good clip yesterday. It was really nice and sounded good too. Silver 05-06 GTO that I heard before I saw it last night. And an 08 CTS this morning.
  21. I guess those folks never got the news that communism has failed. It ran counter to human nature and thus was unsustainable - that lesson should have already been learned. I will take up arms before I live that way.
  22. If purchased at a low price, It wouldn't be too expensive to get back into shape. Parts are cheap and plentiful and running LT1 engines can be had for a song. This is an auto trans. car,Right?
  23. I could do more than that. I could get a ME market Chevy nose for it, but I don't think I'll bother. It is what it is, stupid name and all. Debadging is tempting though. GM has too much invested in this stupid alphanumeric scheme to abandon it for a while. So we are stuck with it for now. As long as the product is good, I plan to overlook the crappy names.
  24. Nothing big, really. I just got too little sleep last night, busted my butt today, and have to go out tonight. The way I feel right now, I'd rather just get some sleep - but that's not going to happen.
