  1. Betcha didn't know that SLP did the early 4th gen WS6 cars. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. OK, forget about the Cutlass for now. What about the Z28?
  3. I still believe killing any brand would be a grave error. Especially now.
  4. Most obvious? I think not. Let's not forget Saab. Pontiac is GM's best opportunity to really shine with a new and interesting lineup. Right now it really is a clean slate.
  5. Which doesn't make sense when the same article says the Solstice gets the alpha treatment and a G8 family is being announced. Something goofy is going on.
  6. One minor comment: While communism may be a red herring, socialism certainly isn't. It's a very real threat - one you don't need scientists to validate for you.
  7. Well now, that's something.
  8. I certainly think so. But I have no idea what color I'm going to want.
  9. I've seen a few around, and I don't make it a point to look for FWD sedans. So I guess the fact that I've been noticing them is a good sign. :AH-HA_wink:
  10. The plant is the holdup.
  11. This post should be quoted and spread around the world over and over until these PC idiots shut their mouths. Utter Stupidity.
  12. Looking forward to the pics!
  13. Probably not what you want to hear, but I would not lift the truck. At least drive it for a while and think it over. There are a whole host of good reasons not to do that. As far as the gears go, the 4.10 is a great choice if you don't mind paying for the fuel. The 3.73s wouldn't disappoint either, but if you add 35s to the truck, the 4.10 would be a better choice. If you decide not to lift the truck, the 3.73s get the nod for improved MPG.
  14. Umm BV, doesn't that tell you something? :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Minus the cheesy stickers, I really like this look. Oh and Mustang, great post and a sweet 3rd gen Formula pic!
  16. Thanks for the link, schuby. 81 pages later I've finally escaped that thread of nasty Fbods. Sometimes I'm an idiot.
  17. Another country heard from! WB Croc.
  18. Wow! Thanks for posting that! I'm not big on the two-tone or the wheels, but I like that clean look.
  19. No worries Schuby, I like the T/As too. And, most people agree with your choices - a ton more WS6 T/As were built than Hawks and Formulas. That's why I love having a choice instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.
  20. Here are some rear shots of both cars for comparison:
  21. I think we need to do the right thing here. We need to find a way to save Walt's former Z28 vert and BV's Cutlass! I'm sure with all of us putting our minds to it, it can be done.
  22. In fact, it does wonders for the look of a T/A:
  23. *sigh* Yeah, I love the Firehawk hood - so clean and purposeful. The WS6 hood is a cartoon by comparison.
  24. OOOOOKay. I just can't leave this thread without posting this one:
  25. Almost, the Formula 400 would be as close as you could get. You would get all of your wishes except that you'd have a rear spoiler and twin hood scoops. The Spoiler may have been optional, but don't quote me on that. The rest would be as easy as checking the right option boxes.
