  1. Meh, so it gets a stupid alphanumeric - what else is new? Starting at 31k? what happened to being less expensive than the sedan? No matter really, I still plan to get one. So is this confirmation that it will happen, or more "what if"? Don't mind me, I'm just tired and grumpy this evening.
  2. Wow! That didn't take long. Who was the clown that did this crime?
  3. I completely agree.
  4. Oh man! I am so sorry to hear this! That truck is gorgeous and I can't even make myself picture it damaged. Ocn, say it isn't so!
  5. Funny, I was just thinking about how we are overdue for an NOS' collar joke around here. :AH-HA_wink:
  6. Well, we certainly try. And I think we do a pretty good job. :AH-HA_wink: Very nice to hear about it too - thanks for that!
  7. I know you can put a plow on a 1500 wihtout voiding warranty, but the last time I checked (a few years back) there was no plow prep package for the 1500. If that has changed, I say good and about time. Certain other configurations and options don't allow for a plow even on heavier trucks. For example, on the last Avalanche 2500 you could not combine plow prep with a moonroof.
  8. I'd love to go, but I just don't see it happening.
  9. Yes, but not on a 1500.
  10. Or maybe it's just because the problem is with Lexus, not Toyota.
  11. The first month's sales are nothing to base a yearly total on, the car had barely been introduced and production just ramping up at one of two plants which will build the car. The only interesting stat is that of 3,500 built, 3,000 are already sold. There is no bad news in any of this.
  12. I've seen them here a number of times over the last few years.
  13. That thing is even more insane than the twin turbocharged 454 Chevette I once saw.
  14. I know it will fit in a Ute...

    hehehe

    Townhouse really describes it well!
  16. No Honda talk in this thread - it's blasphemous. :AH-HA_wink:
  17. Thanks for the link,BP. The hood and new bodylines really look great, not so much the chin splitter.
  18. I am in awe of this post. You want quirky? My Maserati had a lockable lever built in to the doorjamb for the trunk release.
  19. Thanks for the offer, but I won't be buying anything for a while.
  20. Blue Devil indeed!
  21. LS = Like Sex
  22. Interesting yes, if a bit awkward. The low mileage is a plus - the coachwork not so much.
  23. The body sculpting on the SD showcar really refines the look of the Solstice. Why don't we have better pics of the showcar? They should be all over the net by now.
  24. Interesting idea. I could see it presenting some packaging challenges and I wonder about its impact on IRS systems.
