  1. My '77 was just lucky enough to spend its first 30 years in Nevada. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. Oh we have plenty of rust, but if you stay on top of things it need not be terminal.
  3. For the fourth month in a row? Place your bets.
  4. Keep up the good work.
  5. The '95 handled just fine.
  6. Interesting that all three are the uplevel Conquista rather than base models.
  7. I remember quite a few businesses that used Caminos as fleet vehicles. After production ended, they all bought Toyota pickups instead.
  8. Absolutely correct, Northie. This is the first "have your cake and eat it too" Hybrid of any real consequence. It does all a Tahoe should do and yet sips fuel like a Camry - no mean feat, that! Imagine the collective fuel savings when a few hundred-thousand of these are on the road.
  9. Those Nurburgring time comparisons are nothing short of phenomenal! With a credit like that to its name, the understated look is irrelevent.
  10. Very cool! The newest they could be is 20 years old!
  11. Key point. As for TB/Envoy/Colorado/Canyon/Hummer, I think a "no-nonsense" SUV/pickup platform sized between the current TB and the old S10/Blazer would be perfect. Think high on utility/power/towing, with a "hose it out" version offered. Make it simpler and more affordable (with options available) and I think it could hit a sweet spot.
  12. Satty got it on the second try. The Volt: because it is amazing in its innovation and it is beautiful. The HHR Panel SS Concept: because it looks great and goes like stink. The Mini Cooper S: because it has the most amazing packaging I've ever seen on any car and because the "S" with manual is actually fun to drive.
  13. Satty got the third one, at least the car if not the trim. His other two guesses were wrong.
  14. 2 out of three.
  15. 1.75 out of three. :AH-HA_wink:
  16. It's a well-known fact around here that I have no love for FWD. There are, however, three vehicles (current or upcoming) that I believe are so good that I can look past their FWD shortcomings. Think you can name them?
  17. And yet we desperately need a third choice, a wild card if you will, to keep the traditional adversaries on their toes. We need new choices that send the pendulum sideways.
  18. And the grille is much improved by the lack of that ugly bar. Now to get rid of the big chin...
  19. The details on the concept really make the vehicle, the red production version - not so much. I hope this is just a chop and that the final production version more closely resembles the concept.
  20. I don't care who you are, this thing is cool. I especially like the SS emblem incorporated at the leading edge of the chrome strip down the side. A simple touch, but it makes the look and is so much nicer than the current, cheesy, SS emblems on the doors.
  21. Sooo... about those tailgates...
  22. Perhaps not chaos, but things tend toward gridlock.
  23. I once hit the speed limiter in a '95 Chevy K2500, at 105MPH the computer shut me down.
  24. Some of your best writing there, Fly. This car is so essential to GM at this point, and it seems that they are prepared to deliver. I look forward to that. To expand on Ocn's point a bit, I am absolutely in love with the styling of this car from the windsheild forward and I'd love to see that look migrate to other Chevys.
  25. I can't find the poll results anywhere on that site.
