Thanks for the good wishes, but I think this will be some time healing. I peeled up a large flap of skin from the tip of my finger to the first knuckle beside the nail. It bled a good bit. That sort of damage is hassle because it takes so long to heal. Right now it is throbbing in time with my pulse. My "to do" list suddenly looks longer.

Working on building the top landing for the walkway I've posted pics of before, I smashed the crap out of my left index finger between a deadblow hammer and a piece of flagstone. I now know the meaning of "exquisite" pain.

Well it was a late 70's C3 - what happened next was a crime against nature. Some of the panels are aftermarket add-on.

Growing up here in PA the Stars and Bars only had a "rebel" connotation - no thought of race even entered into it.

The top car, please! BTW: I'm not that friggin old! And that Caddy is for those already dead! It's a funeral flower car. I can't ask for the number on the Camino - it would just be torture as the year, trans and color are perfect! When I found out the price it would just kill me.

I might have chosen different poll answer choices, the "one of their models appeals..." choice might have been better as " I'd consider one". Then again, simple yes/no choices might have been more revealing.

Yes, and GM is positioned well globally to regain (if necessary) and secure the number 1 spot . Some members of the press can't see the forest for the trees.

They say it because they want it to be true. It isn't, at least not yet. And it won't be true for very long - if it ever happens. The next few years are Toyota's only shot at the #1 title, after that it will be beyond their reach again. The title will be in contention for a long time to come, and even if Toyota enjoys a brief stay at the top, it will not have a definitive lead anytime soon - if ever.
