Do you have the stock stereo? It might help to see where those wires plug into it. I'm fairly sure that those two wires are power and a ground - but it's been a long time since I messed with a stereo install so don't take that as gospel. Do you have a test light? Check each wire with the key on to see what has power and when. Narrow things down as you go and trace whichever wires you can back to the fuse block (or elsewhere). Take your time and the process of elimination should get you there.

It is that simple, it's do or die for GM on this project and they know it. Obviously, they know a great deal more than has been announced - or do you really think that the liquid cooling was decided upon this week? GM is publically confident because they know that they can make it happen or this would all be shrouded in secrecy. Toyota is selling nothing like the Volt - and won't be for some time (if ever). The ostriches are those who believe that the Prius is actually a sensible car when it little more than a PR snow job that a bunch of fools have fallen for. The difference is that the Volt is fundamentally superior in concept and innovative in approach. No they're not on lots yet, so what? I don't see how anyone can doubt that they will be, GM has stuck its neck out way too far for this to be some sort of PR stunt. To go by the "track record" while ignoring the significance of this tech is laughable at best.

A product that doesn't exist? Please. Contracts say it exists. The design of the next gen Delta says it exists. Firm promises of production says it exists. GM is betting the farm on this product, it will happen or GM will fold. It is that important. It's real, it's coming, you can count on that. You can also count on the Volt and E-flex changing the game. The old saw that "if Toyota can't do it or hasn't done it, it can't be done" is pure BS. Toyota has been caught with their pants down on this one. And that pleases me no end.

It's just a packet with model/year specific info on your car. It also contains listings of clubs and aftermarket suppliers etc. I got one for my '70 Camaro it was kinda cool, but no big deal really.

I've had a bunch of those trucks over the years, and this one for over ten so far.

No, the wagon and the El Camino are both Colonnade cars from '77 but the other project is an '88 crewcab 4x4 that is nearly finished. I'm going to skip the Camino until the truck is done .

Who knows where we are on this one, I tend to get carried away with the details. :AH-HA_wink: Seriously though, I expect to have it re-assembled and on the road in a few weeks. The paint job is the real wild card at this point. Getting that done is so damned expensive, but I'm not equipped to do it myself yet. So, I may just hold-off on the paint until the right deal comes along. Anyway, you are most welcome to come check it out,PCS. The only hangup is that it could well be sold by the time you return to the states. Even so, there are two more projects in the barn already so there will always be something to look at!

I think the crappy summer weather has finally been evicted for the year. Now begins my favorite time of year - I'm hoping for a long, long, fall season! Good riddance summer!

The thing that concerns me is that it is a recent development. I'm not much of a typist either, but having this crop up all of the sudden has me wondering WTF? Some other "symptoms" have been bugging me as well, and together the possibility of Lyme disease is comes to mind. This place is rotten with deer and I'm outside all the time, so I think I'll have to get that checked out.

Can you become dyslexic as an adult? Lately, I've been transposing my letters as I type with alarming regularity. This rarely ever happened until a few months ago. Should I be concerned? It is a bit disturbing.

Well, with my scrawl I guess I'm safe from people getting the wrong impression- - I could be mistaken for a doctor though. Seriously though, I never knew that people determined such things by looking at handwriting - seems a bit goofy to me.

You beat me too it - the Eagle was the first thing I thought of. But.... I kind of, sort of, like it. I don't see much purpose in it, but it is somewhat attractive-looking. I really don't care for any of the crossovers ( not my thing) , but this one looks better than any of the others. The "SAC" thing is beyond rediculous, it insults the intelligence of the average rock.
