  1. I like snow and winter. However, I am getting tired of plowing. I have plowed every snowstorm here since 1985 and it's beginning to get old. In the '96 storm I plowed for 74 hours with 1- 2 hr. break and 1- 4 hour break. That was one hell of a marathon, the roads were closed for several days and it was illegal to drive unless you were driving an emergency vehicle (snowplows qualified). For once, I'd just like to play in the snow instead of working the storm.
  2. I like it - quite a bit.
  3. A-bodies = Heaven on wheels
  4. I still love mine, it's just a great,great, car. So I'm with Walt , F the whiners.
  5. Marina Blue - very nice. Fresh paint job? (I noticed the lack of wipers). My bet for the garage car: Caddy - '65 ish
  6. Don't get me started on the French...
  7. Agreed. I think it is a good thing that the idea evolve slowly though, less shock to the system. B-P-GMC really had to happen and I suspect that is how it will go as the trend moves forward: slow, steady and done when the need is obvious. Cadillac will stand alone as long as possible.
  8. I certainly see the LX cars differently than you two do! I hate the flippin Charger -every inch of it. I see it as a "why did you even bother" type of design. I like the 300C in a luke-warm way, it stands out in a crowd with that low roofline and high beltline. I'm not in love with it but its ok in my book. I really like the Magnum best of this group, I have a thing for bad-ass wagons and it qualifies. I still think GM could do it better, if they got off their butts and got to it. But, for now, Magnum is the only game in town when it comes to wagons. I'll likely forget all three of these cars when Challenger hits the market.
  9. Wow! We actually agree on this. I have thought this would be a fine idea for some time. I can see the opposing point of view, but this is worth looking into.
  10. I actually like the badges (if placed well). Chrysler did the same thing forever and I never found it offensive on their cars.
  11. Bravo, let's keep this going.
  12. Despite all of the blather in this thread, that article is well-written and seems to take a balanced view of the situation. Too bad the thread title bangs the same tired old drum. We might have had a good discussion about what was actually written in the piece had that not been the case. I don't give a rat's ass who is "right" but I do care about the quality of the discussions on this site. No more: from any quarter please. And leave the agenda at home.
  13. You guys are beating some very old and very dead horses in this thread. Let's tone it down a notch. I don't want to have to use this:
  14. ... upgraded suspension and brakes, LS1,6spd., dropped low...
  15. That would be an interesting project.
  16. That thought has crossed my mind more than once. :AH-HA_wink:
  17. I should go get a look at that. It's not a 2-door is it?
  18. Sure did, I replied to that thread.
  19. Thanks, Trucker
  20. Should be up now at this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...51074%26fvi%3D1 Let me know if you can see it.
  21. Yup! That's fast becoming the main object of my search, the dark green one on the site Satty linked to is a good possibility- if it is still around when the time comes.
  22. Thanks for the link Satty. Very cool site, they a huge inventory. I think I'll pass on the limo though, my pups don't rate that sort of transport.
  23. Thanks guys.
  24. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...AMESC%3AIT&rd=1 Someone please try the link for me. I don't know if it will work prior to midnight.
