  1. Now this is really odd, an argument I can't takes sides on. I like all of the cars in question. Just a couple of points: - Jag (and other British cars) are traditional as a matter of course. The details noted earlier in this thread are more a function of sylistic differences rather than advancement or lack of it. - An insane neighbor of my parents let one of these cars in decent condition sit until it became one with the earth. A true crime against humanity. - My Jag is WAY newer (1979) than this one.
  2. As long as you have collision coverage, the insurance co. has to pay. They could, however, raise your rates and/or drop your coverage later. What you need is a witness or two.
  3. Grim news indeed. I'm really sorry to hear this Josh, but I'm glad you're ok. Did you report the driver that cut you off?
  4. My current fleet All the cars I wish I still had and a wide array of others I would need a large warehouse.
  5. Congratulations and condolences,Walt. My day for this is destined to come as well.
  6. Have a good one ,TJ.
  7. It's better with two doors but it's still an ugly car.
  8. It's ok. I guess I'm a bit jaded as BMW sedans are as common as dirt around here.
  9. Not THIS Pontiac owner! Those wheels are a crime against humanity.
  10. I think your numbers are a bit light on all fronts, but I understand the conservative approach. The Buick and Pontiac sedans are the real question and I see them at much higher volumes. Wilmington could provide a great deal of flexibility to adapt to shifting demand and could provide a way to make more Zeta variants available. Worth the investment? I don't know, but the thought intrigues me. We could have these cars (or some of them) much faster if GM were to go with this approach.
  11. On another front, is it me or does the red Camaro in the photo seem a different color than the red one we've seen before?
  12. If we go by today's Camaro announcement, Oshawa will be a busy place in 2008 and after. So, my question is: How much more capacity will Oshawa have assuming that it gets both Camaro and Impala? Enough to also handle GTO, Monte Carlo, and a Pontiac/Buick sedan? (Yes, I know Holden may be building the sedans for a while at least) But, add in a Buick droptop,an El Camino and a Monaro and things start to look mighty tight for capacity at Oshawa. So, what if Wilmington is being eyed as the "zeta-expansion" plant as the number of models increases of the next few years? Let's just suppose that this is part of the Zeta game plan and Imports from Holden are a stopgap. Now,the set-up for Zeta could begin at Wilmington anytime whereas at Oshawa there will be a wait until its current products end production. So if Wilmington is intended to be part of the plan, who's to say certain models might not be produced on a different timeline than we now expect. Just food for thought.
  13. Because of the announced timing. it seems that Oshawa won the job of building the Camaro. That's the real holdup, since that plant won't be available any earlier. A surprise speed-up in the plan would be most welcome. *cough* Wilmington*cough*
  14. Here's hoping we get more detail soon.
  15. Congrats. Hmm, two black GM vehicles - I knew there was something I liked about you.
  16. You're kidding,Right?
  17. What I've gleaned from the more credible sources over the last few years is that this car will be more than most expect and here sooner. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. This is happening simultaneously with the F-body gathering at the Heritage center. Should be very cool - I want to go so badly.
  19. Well now, this is news!
  20. I've seen the results of just such an accident - not pretty. Friend of mine did the same thing, though his injuries were only external(heavy bruising and blood blisters) very nasty. Could have been much, much worse.
  21. Not as exclusive as you think! http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...ype=post&id=146
  22. If someone buys one of my cars I'll take the other one out there for this. I would love to just hop in the car and go.
  23. Wonderful random silliness.
  24. Nice review. Enjoy that monster!
