  1. *sigh*
  2. Wow Fly! Whatever possessed you?
  3. How right you are Zhawk! I am tempted by the TTA, but he'd have to make one heck of a cash offer above the car to make it do-able for me. The GTO offer was easy to decline because it was an automatic and I love my 04. I wish I'd just get a serious cash offer, then I could take my time and find the right car later. Right now it's a money issue, sadly. A "plainer" trade would be ok, I guess.
  4. One guy offered a 2005 GTO w/ 2,100 miles. and another guy is offering a 20th Anniversary Turbo T/A Indy pace car (actual festival car) with 2,800 miles. Interesting.
  5. I call "smokescreen" on the "pitch it to the board" talk, GM brass has been thinking this one over for a very long time. I think we will see both of these cars here very soon, with the GMNA-built Impala soon after. Camaro is still a wild card as to arrival time, and GTO could arrive with it.

Is it just me, or do you folks hear a swan song? :AH-HA_wink:
  7. I'll just take an SS El Camino , so I can show 'em how it's done. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Haven't seen Vanishung Point for years, would love to see it again. Some others from that era: Thunderbolt and Lightfoot Slither
  9. No, not really an option for me. I re-listed it one last time. If it doesn't sell, it goes into deep storage for a while.
  10. Thanks for these suggestions, I want to check them out later. BTW: www.poci.org doesn't seem to exist, could it be a .com or .net?
  11. A bunch of interesting suggestions here, I'm just frustrated because I really don't want to sell it and, having decided that I need to, I want it over with. However, I will NOT give this car away. I get full value or it stays!
  12. I've listed it twice on ebay now and gotten lots of watchers, one fool that keeps insisting that it had to have come from the factory with leather seats and chrome wheels and he demands that I put them "back in/on". I'm thinking maybe I won't re-list it again if it doesn't go this time. Maybe I'll just polish it up, put it up on jackstands, cover it , and try to forget I own it for a few years.
  13. A turbine engine?
  14. Impact? Or whatever they called the experimental that led to the EV-1
  15. Mouse, it is a fine thing that you do here.
  16. A "For Sale" sign on my Firehawk!

    In Retrospect

    Missed opportunity.
  18. Yuck. Those things have always turned me off. There is a ZR1 for sale around here though...
  19. Horse with no name - America Never thought I'd see it paraphrased here. HSV as G8? Yes,please! Just call it something else.
  20. Thanks for the pic of the rough and ready Camino,Mouse. There is something to be said for cars like that: no BS, just fast. :AH-HA_wink:
  21. I HATE these programs.
  22. Cool pics. Thanks guys!
  23. Unless I miss my guess, that white Caddy is parked in roughly the same position as the SSR showcar was in one of GM's promo shots (the SSR was black in the shot). I love that pic.
  24. It will be a cold day in the nether regions when I'd buy a minvan... any minivan. With that said, what struck me most in this thread wasn't the missing competitors in M/T's comparison, but the fact that one of these things topped 40K! Who in the hell pays 40K for a minivan?
