This one merits a great big "duh". A healthy and profitable #2 is not a bad place to be. With that said, I still doubt Toyota will be able to pull it off. -

"Factory Lightweights" were bread and butter of early 60's drag racing. They often had aluminum body panels and bumpers along with radio and heater delete packages as well as sound deadener/carpet and padding deletes. I think I remember that some didn't even use seam sealer between body panels. There were also a ton of high performance parts available straight from the dealer's parts counter. -

I was getting oil changes and inspection on the Hawk and the Silverado today and the dealer had a gorgeoous black 07 Av on the lot. So here are some pics. I'll post more later.

You are correct about the law, of course, and I should have stated those details before as they make the true legal situation clearer. Beyond that, I simply cannot agree. I believe in personal freedom first and that includes deciding for yourself whether or not you wish to wear a helmet. No amount of statistics or argument will ever sway me from this position. And, if the Darwin effect is a consequence of this, so be it.
