  1. Chrysler's museum is open to the public why dosent GM have something like that . I know why, they dont want the non car enthusiast public to see and remember all the cool stuff they built then question the choice stuff (sarcastic) they give us today.
  2. I like Retro or whatever its called . I think there should be even more. As far as new styling there is nothing wrong with styling cues from years past Mercedes always does it and it shows the heritage of the Mfg. If it was done more there would be a lot more better looking cars. What is terrible is when they take a name and destroy it with some piece of crap like the Lemans based on the Vauxhaull from years ago.
  3. I like to read Car Craft while in the can . You cant do that with a computer it could get wet.
  4. I thought I had some time to put together some dough now I gotta save more.
  5. How about LIKE - "So shes like I have raging herpes" and "Im like you need to go put some ointment on it". I Friggin hate that .
  6. THE WINNER !!!!! Yes sir a steering stabilizer !
  7. THese cars did have high caster steering but its not what I was getting at. This is an actual part on the front suspension attached to the center link that no other Chevy or for that matter regular production GM car had only some very special models like a Limo or Ambulance or Hearse.
  8. Thats a great ad . I am going to find one a frame it.
  9. knightfan dont answer ! What front end component do "all" second gen (73-77) monte carlo's have, that no other RWD Chevy passenger cars have ever been equipped with (at least as standard equipment) .
  10. Cort check because I heard Monte madness was cancelled.
  11. How much more proof do we need that we are all being ripped off. I read today in the NY daily news that the current spike is because of speculation in stock prices. Someone farts in Argentina and the price goes up there is some sheik that is pissed off and the price goes up any BS excuse and the price goes up. I dont believe any of it theres plenty of oil and the oil companys lie.
  12. My friends dad had one brand new what a nice car. Like a Caddy station wagon. Got stolen when it was about a year old never to be heard from again.
  13. Saw a Trailblazer SS Friday morning with a CT dealer plate on it . Nice looking.
  14. Cars werent $h! in the eighties at least the first half of the decade. You had lots of choices, I feel a lot more than today. Its frustrating that say you like a car as a sedan but you might need a wagon and no wagon is offered. I feel a lot of consumers turned away in the 80's because of stuff like GM turning all the full size cars into econo turds and buillding them crappy. GM still sold a lot of cars then though.
  15. 5 cars 4 V8's 1 3800 SC . You cant have to much torque .
  16. Good for you man . I 'm a dog lover too ! I would have done the same,great story. I've got a yellow Lab .

I can keep buying old B-bodys and fixing them (cheap) and never have to buy anything other than GM .

  20. How to post the pictures at the bottom of the posts I cant figure this out for the life of me . Thanks
  21. Holy crap is it ever! When I saw that on Rob's car the first time I saw his car, I was awed....it is an awesome set up. BTW, mrmonte, you didn't participate in the Knight's Challenge? You should've ;). [post="73179"][/post] I saw it on the showcase-you know, I will next time . I takes me a long time to type and I lose my patience.
