  1. Holy Sh*! They are just figureing this out. This is what happens when you have soup and diaper engineers trying to build cars . You need car guys to build cars. I'm am very happy to read this and see the front of that new CTS. There is promise. GM dont let any focus groups get near those cars either !!
  2. If you guys like AMC check out the latest issue of Car Craft. They are building a neat Rambler American two door sedan. (Its the issue with the Cougar and Mustang on the cover)

    Deb Lafave....

That kid should have kept his mouth shut. He could have kept on tapping her. Why would he rat on her? Where was she when I was 14?
  4. Scarface. The chick says it to him
  5. From a Buick 8 is a great book . I cant wait to see the movie.
  6. I'm thinking about a 91 LSC too. I had a 91 T-bird that I bought when it was two years old. That was a pretty good car. And I would like to get something that my wife can drive so I can give my Regal a break a few days a week. Shes too small to drive my 98. For a brand new car it going to be a Chrysler LX V8 car though.
  7. Sweet car, great for a Buick 350 or 455 conversion . I wish we could buy cars styled just like that new. Those were the days when GM still had it .
  8. Nothing to good getting unveiled there this year I guess. I just want to see the Challenger and Camaro so I'm gonna go.
  9. What about Centurion . I know it was the b body and not the c-body but most people wouldnt know any way.
  10. http://popyourhood.com/VintageTV.html Check out this site they have quite a few old car commercials . The one with OJ and the Nova is good.
  11. 70 GSX stage 1 would spank it.
  12. You couldnt buy that house where I live for double that . Would be a nice country home for someone from here (NY). Hey BV is there a Stewarts not far from where you live with an old style Drive in Restaurant and a Drive in Movie in back ? I think I have been near there before I remember that Thunder mountain speedway for some reason. It is in NE PA right. I think we took 81 North to get there.
  13. They still wont make any deals on the V8 LX cars so I guess the're still selling a lot of them.
  14. That is pretty interesting . What they should have done was keep building the freakin cars people bought and felt good about buying. Not the turds we got after they decided to crap up the division (Downsized fullsize cars in 86 and FWD Cutlass in 88) Some real jerkoffs ran that division thats for sure.
  15. Best car in NYC -Chevy Caprice or Ford Crown Vic. both with heavy duty springs . Will last forever and easy to get fixed.

    Fast

I dont like those cars at all . They look really small and cheap . The Golf always seemed like a better economy car (not that there is a chance in hell I would ever buy one) . The little man is kind of weird almost looks like something bad that shouldnt be associated with cars. What about the GTI ad from years ago with the two cars flying over hills next to each other that was cool.
  17. Is that your Cutlass? Nice car. I told the Dingbat working at the Buick display at the NY auto show that car should get a V8, maybe she listened she told me she worked for Buick in MI , I would rather have that Cutlass.
  18. Aw man its probably the Dorky looking dudes new project or something and you guys are cutting on him . Maybe he bought it to put the 455 in a nice Delta hes got in the back yard . Maybe not.
  19. That top is kind of crappy looking but I think its the crappy color of the car and the cheap rims . I like the Vogue tires though. and an actual vynil top contured with the roof line of the car wouldnt look so bad . FYI those tops are called simcon's (simulated convertible)
  20. If the car goes side to side over bumps it needs springs. Our roadmaster did it until new springs and a set of KYB's my 98 did it too and got the same thing . Get one with an LT1(94-96) and hold on they cook, great cars .
  21. I'm in the same boat but I have replaced two of my Ram Vans with Sprinters Big cost savings. Any how for my personal car(s) I dont care what all these crash tests say (small cars are safe enough) I am staying with a full size car. I feel safer the car rides and drives better. As far as the front wheel drive goes I am in full agreement about that too. I read some place that the BOF ford products are one of the safest cars you can buy. I wasnt at all suprised. and that proves my point when people say its too big.
  22. Love this stuff I am a litttle to young to remember the seventies stuff when it was real new but the eighties stuff I remember real well . It sounds real good too when I am out cruising in the summer in one of my Montes.
  23. Their should still be an Eldorado and a Coupe Deville. There is nothing wrong with that name. You see a lot of younger people around where I live driving Eldo's and there is nothing like a sweet Coupe Deville vinyl top and whitewalls and spokes and all.
