  1. THe Honda Fit is probably the ugliest, most disproportioned car since the aztec. Worse, actually. UGH!
  2. I hope they bring out a Volt SSS, with a crate 572, carburated, no emissions crap, runs strictly on leaded racing fuel...
  3. Concept: "Oh my god, this is the best car EVAR, I will buy 500 of these, GM is saved, yippy!" Production version, slights changes, grany, shaky, fuzzy, bad POV pre-production picture: "great, GM really screwed up the concept, it is teh suckxs!!11!!" production version: "Well, it turned out OK, but I am really disappointed because it doesn't have blue.., oh wait it does, I mean yellow tooth and no NAVITRON and it doesn't go the moon in 4.5 sec, I won't buy one." reality: poster drives his mom's honda to go flip burgers.
  4. I am completely loving the Cruze... awesome design. The headlights are a little akward, but at least it's not "clean cut". I can only imagine an SS coupe! Very nice stance for a small FWD car! Speaking of which, that's probably the worst thing about the Buick. I can't believe they made it look like an "old person" car after all! Maybe it's the POV of the picture thought. The bumper is pretty bland though. How hard can it be to mold an Invicta-type bumper? Also digging the caddy and the rest is OK.
  5. In other surprsing news, GM announced that the Invicta concept will indeed find it's way to North America as the new Lacrosse, after a few minor adjustments. Officials said it will not be built on the new Epsilon 2 platform, but instead on GMs "Powerhouse-Platform", the trusty W-Body. "It will save us Billions and Consumers will never notice. We stayed very true to the concept." Early Promo shots of the New Lacrosse (most likely to be renamed Regal to appeal to older Folks) appeared also on the web today as well as early information on the power train and colors, which include white, several shades of off-white and gray. Silver might be made available for the 2011 model year. The new Lacrosse will be powered by Buick's dependable 3800 V6, with GMs 3100 as an option.
  6. A little late in the game maybe, but I just saw those pics. If I were the Chrysler Sebring, I'd be pissed.
  7. Here is the solution: Kill ALL Brands and sell "GM" cars. Or Oldsmobile. Or just "Car"s. I miss Olds.
  8. "Rebadging" done right. No, make that Platform sharing done right. The G5 is a rebadge. This is an all new vehicle built on a universal Platform and shares the basic outline of the vehicles. Great job.
  9. If I need a "coupe", I would NOT buy a family FWD sedan with two doors missing, I would buy a Camaro, Challenger or even Mustang. If it's the "two door factor" I want, the VW Rabbit it is. I (and might just be me and me growing up around European cars) see VERY LITTLE sense in a car that has only 2 doors and is not a hatch or performance car.
  10. Who cares? Seriously, let Toyota be No.1, let their recalls skyrocket, their reliability hit rock bottom and take the time to cut down the fleet sales at GM. Like somebody said, I don't see BMW worry about being No.1 in volume, all they care about it No.1 in how their cars drive. I would still never spend my hard earned money on a Toyota, no matter if EVERY LAST PERSON in my town had one or not. Matter of fact, I'd keep driving my 84 Olds just to piss them off.
  11. Keep in mind Lutz said the Design will be very far out there on the concept. Initially, a lot of people will probably hate it.
  12. Looks okay from the side, over at GMI there are pics from the front. OH MY GOD! A BAtD design indeed. Hate Toyotas recent bloating.
  13. I should probably shut up because I have never even heard of such a thing as a gas guzzler tax, but I'll keep driving my 307 Rocket V8 (yeah, it's the "small" one). Screw gas prices and new car prices.
