  1. The new 4 door Wranger is awesome! I drive a lot of those at work, not a fan of the two door, just too bouncy for me, and I dont go off roading. The Commander is sirta nice, but with the third row of seats up its nearly impossible to see out of the rear window. The Compass just sucks, I hear people saying it looks better in person, I work with them all day, they look like sh!t no matter what. The Gr. Cherokee is nice, one of the few DCX products I would consider.
  2. www.pfyc.com www.3800performance.com www.zzperformance.com http://www.intense-racing.com/ And I belive the NA 3800 is the L36 and the SC is L67. ZZper. currently has the fastest GP using their turbo kit, runs something like mid 9's, they have a cool video of it beating a SC viper on their site. Edit: ZZperformance also sells a kit that you can install a factory eaton m90 sc onto a stock l36.
  3. I like the tough guy at the end. He's a bad ass.

    76 Firebird

Right, it is expensive. Im not sure whats shes willing to do anyway, was just a thought I guess. If its going to be this difficult to find a FI kit I guess shes going with a carb setup, unless shes willing to do a LS7 swap. Anyone know where she could get body parts? More specifically a front bumper, hers was pretty tore up in the front right corner. Dont know if I want to attempt repairing it.

    76 Firebird

We live in Texas now, originally from the Detroit area. She isnt the kind of person to work on the car, thats something she assumes I will do. Im not the brightest tool in the box when it comes to mechanics, and I know less about the offerings of vehicles made in the 70's. I think with temprature changes and changes in humidity a FI car is goin to be easier to start up and drive than a carburated one. I dont know anything about tuning the needles on a carb, but once FI is set its good. Not to mention that once the cars finished I think a FI setup would look rather impressive on something that old, I dont see a lot of guys doing it. But more or less you guys are saying their isnt going to be any kits laying around for this motor, and nothing is interchangeable with a chevy engine etc. She might just be stuck with a carb. I wont give out any numbers lol, but here is her myspace; http://www.myspace.com/jacktheripper4535 Thanks anyway.
  6. My sister has a 76 Firebird she would like to fix up, its got a 400ci motor, I think it would be good to set it up with fuel injection, should be more streetable, better fuel economy and the fact its going to be different from what everyone else would go with. Any suggestions as to what vendor to go with? I looked at Holley, I didnt see a kit for a pontiac, would a chevy sb kit work? So much I dont know about this stuff I guess. Thanks
  7. I love mine, and other than the CD player and a little bit of a clucking sound in the steering its been nothing but great for me. I honeslty think the Monte is one of the beeter cars built and I drive all sorts of cars every day. I always go back to mine with a smile ever since 2002.
  8. Maybe, just maybe Olds is comming back! Yea I bet thats what it is, thats why their keeping it up. Yup cant wait to see the new Oldsmobiles. Wonder when we will start seeing them in showrooms? Maybe they just forgot they had the site still? Just seems odd to me that they would pay for a automobile companys advertising when the company doesnt even exist anymore. I'm just bursting with confusion. I'm with you Brougham-Holiday, make it into a historical site for Olds, show all their concepts, innovations etc. Would make for a good read
  9. I like the looks of the Challenger, but its nearly an exact copy of the origional. Guess thats why everyone can love it so much. Dodge took the easiest road with this car.
  10. With everone on here driving something besides a GM product maybe the Monte C or the camaro stand a chance? Lol
  11. Wow, never expected my find to be a Hot Topic.
  12. Right, GM has great products, but all I ever see on TV is a commercial talking about incentives. Its rare to see one that pushes a product especially a new product like the Solstice or Sky, atleast when Im watching. Dont know about your experiences.
  13. I went from someone who would never own a Saturn to a diehard fan over night once I saw the Sky at the NAIAS a couple years back. GM needs to do something tough to push the image of Saturn though. I still talk to people who think Saturns your budget POS, and these are guys workin in the car buisness. I showed a picture of the Redline Sky next to an Elise and my friend wanted the Sky regardless of anything else. If they would just push their vehicles on tv I think they could be doing even better, or at least get their rep. up a little quicker.
  14. Not sure if this has been posted on here at all, I looked around and didnt see it. http://www.automobilemag.com/features/news..._red_line_dyno/ They seem fairly impressed.
  15. I bought mine brand new in 2002 when I was a painter at Jay Chevrolet (highland, MI). I haven't had any "quality" issues. I have been in brand new Camrys and Accords that have had more problems than my Monte ever has had. I used to sell Toyotas. As far as looks go I love mine, just don't car for the older LS models with out a spoiler, and I cant be some odd ball with my opinions, I get people coming up to me all the time complementing me on the styling and the stripes. My only beef with it is that its FWD, the cd player like to phuck up too much but that with any vechicle with that style radio and that its a 3800. Not that I don't love the 3800, it just doesnt have enough power, thank god for www.zzperformance.com But I suppose my opinions don't count, I'm a ricer because I have neon lights under my car! I seriously don't know what it is with the people on this site and their hate towards the Monte C.
  16. I woudlnt doubt that, actully thugh it would have been something more along the lines of the desk managers would have shot him. The sales people are desperate there, they would take anything they could get.
  17. Yea, that wouldnt be too Smart.
  18. Guess I'm glad I'm not a salesman at this place any more. Well and the fact that I hate Toyota, I felt like such a sell out working there. Seriously! http://www.lewisvilleleader.com/articles/2...news/news66.txt
  19. What are you guys talking about, they look totaly different. Like one is red! One has more fender bulges, and the windshield wipers are different. Geez, ameatures! LOL
  20. This post is going to be retarded, but it tripped me out when I saw that Olsmobiles we site is still up. http://www.oldsmobile.com/olds/heritage/index.html Sorry, I know Im dumb.
  21. I'll pass on PS3, to expensive and everyone says that the PS3 specs are only moderatly better if actually better at all. With the exception of blu ray, who cares. My first race game I can remember was Super Monaco Gp for the Sega Genisis, first game I think I played was Combat for the Atari 2600. I think Im going to be picking up Carbon for my 360 now.
