  1. I think it is rather disturbing that this country still consumes 16,000 Corollas per month when there are so many better alternatives out there.
  2. The Juke box has stopped playing.
  3. Yes, that is a great improvement for the Passat, but they'll need to go further if they want to really compete with the big guys. At that sales rate, they are just beating out the Taurus.... barely.
  4. I would have to see the proportions though...
  5. Rarely do we agree, but when we do... we do.
  6. Again! There is a THREE WEEK DELAY BETWEEN IMPACT AND WHEN THE BATTERIES CATCH FIRE. If you are still in your car three weeks after you crashed it into a tree, chances are, you're dead already and they just haven't found your body yet!
  7. Well, that's the banner header for this site. I'm going to need banners for advertising on other sites.... I'm sitting in Chicago Union Station right now, I'll try and get you some graphics (or you could coordinate with DF) tomorrow morning.
  8. I was meaning more in an emergency situation.
  9. Too soon I think.... and they are already doing the ATS at Detroit. They need to save something for Chicago and/or New York.
  10. mmmm the Tornado. I want to see if I can hop a ride on that if I'm ever in England. For those who don't know. They built a brand new Peppercorn-Class steam engine in Britain in 2008 called the Tornado.
  11. Don't forget the W engines that are shared with VW, Audi. Bugatti, and Bently. Today a company needs to share with divisions or it will need to share with other companies. BMW has worked with GM and now is talking to Toyota to share cost on new technologies and parts. Development cost are so high any more the cost need to be spread out as much as they can. This is why even cross town rivals GM and Ford shared funding in the transaxle they co developed. you mean like the V6 that the E, C, SLK, R, ML, GLK, and CLS use that comes from the Sprinter?
  12. I don't come to Columbus anymore. My last trip there was to close that office.
  13. Yikes @ those front struts! You may want to get the rears addressed sooner rather than later. Having a properly firm front setup with an old and saggy rear could cause handling abnormalities in stressful situations.
  14. I do want a used Avalanche again, but that's so far down the road at this point.
  15. This will be the first Chrysler/Fiat car you'd be able to judge the build quality on..... so... you've seen and felt the car in person already? Can you give us your findings on it?
  16. neither. Get the real thing from GM <a target="_blank" href="http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=9&pub=5574850503&toolid=10001&campid=5336741951&customid=&icep_uq=GMC+Envoy+Service+Manual&icep_sellerId=&icep_ex_kw=&icep_sortBy=12&icep_catId=34222&icep_minPrice=&icep_maxPrice=&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg">GMC Envoy Service Manual</a><img style="text-decoration:none;border:0;padding:0;margin:0;" src="http://rover.ebay.com/roverimp/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=9&pub=5574850503&toolid=10001&campid=5336741951&customid=&uq=GMC+Envoy+Service+Manual&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]">
  17. lol! I almost never use that part!
  18. So... what you're saying is that in the end it really was just a bad wire......job!
  19. I think this could put some serious hurt on the competition. Focus what?
  20. there is a THREE WEEK delay between a crash and a battery fire
  21. Later that same day: The old coot I saw working on this thing could teach the young whipper snapper driving the Nismo a thing or two about performance.
  22. A Nissan Versa with the "Nismo" package. yes, there was a douchebag behind the wheel.... how did you know?
