  1. no... the newest stuff I have is from the 50s. Most of what I have is from the 30s and 40s like the ads on this web page.
  2. except I admit it....
  3. So is Chris Doane....
  4. What kinda mileage do these little buggers get?
  5. Lincoln's OHCs generate a pavement shredding 240hp in the Towncar and a least in class 300hp in the Navigator. The Towncar would actually be better off with a S/C 3800 as it gets the same torque at 500 rpm less.
  6. I can just ban the IP at the server level.....
  7. so... if I put up a paypal button, would some of you contribute to the "save a Toronado" fund?
  8. BS. The thing holding back the CTS-V was it's interior and it's tendency to wheel hop <this happens even on my CTS 3.6>, but both have been fixed in the new iteration. The press loved the powertrain setup. The Chrysler 300C does quite well too.... again it's not the pushrods that hold it back, it's the wonky interior, ergonomics, and the fact that you can buy a $21k 2.7 litre V6 with rubbermaid garbage can lid hubcaps, version.
  9. Did they tune it with the DI to make the same HP while delivering better economy? It's obviously not a 300hp engine or else they'd be shouting that too.
  10. well they'd have to find something to complain about.... it has cruise on the steering wheel, nav, and an MP3 input jack.
  11. The meat of the market isn't small crossovers? and the Malibu Maxx was very popular for what it was, GM left behind a good number of loyal fans by not continuing with that into the next generation.
  12. I actually have some of those I'm trying to sell if anyone is interested. They look like they all came from National Geographic. I also have some in similar styles but not listed on that page.
  13. there are so many bad decisions on the table at GM right now, them padding their development timeline a bit is the least of our worries.
  14. It's optioned really weirdly though.... Has the sport steering wheel, fiber optics, exterior thermometer, "classic" grill, and sunroof but doesn't have digital dash, tape cassette, power passenger seat, or leather.
  15. Made what? Toronados?
  16. Pauli, Pauli.... it's not the wood that matters, it's how you use it.
  17. Only 3,700 miles That continental kit would be off in a jiffy though.....
  18. I can drive my car not having a cancel button without having a stroke... and I'm the one who needs to expand his horizons?
  19. Not trying to dis BMW..... if I could sell a Civic for 30k, I would too. I'm dissing only select BMW owners.... the ones who buy the car if it was a Yugo with a blue and white rondel, free maintenance, and "easy" lease payments of $299 a month with $4,000 down.
  20. Are you advocating the idea of GM closing everything but Cadillac and having the cheapest GM vehicle start at 30k?
  21. BMW is also a premium only manufacturer that can get away with charging 30k for a RWD, 6cylinder, Civic with leatherette.
  22. because it has never in my life been an issue to not have a cancel button.
  23. Since the subject of this thread is the Malibu LTZ, I suggest you trade your CTS for one of those if the cancel button is that big a deal. *strangely the first CTSes did have their cruise on the wheel, then it was later removed.
  24. BMW just pays the CAFE fine every year because it can afford to.
