  1. I saw an announcement that there was also going to be the Cadillac Provoq concept.
  2. There is going to come a time when Mario is taller than you are.
  3. good writeup... unfortunately, I believe the remaining GM history will be brief.
  4. Where you gettin hickies from young man!
  5. + Pontiac Grand Prix GXP shipping to Swaziland
  6. 1. 1985 Oldsmobile Toronado 2. 1983 Chevy Caprice 3.8 V6 (given to me, decided to find something else when I was beaten up hill by a similar vintage VW Rabbit Diesel.) 3. 1985 Lincoln Continental 4. 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible 5. 2004 Cadillac CTS 6. 2003 Chevy Avalanche
  7. That must have been when you were a renaissance man.
  8. She probably would have been safer in a smaller, fuel efficient Saab 9-3 or Volvo S40.
  9. Cadillac could too. They already have a 2.9 liter in the CTS for Europe. 255hp and 403 ft/lbs torque. That should be sufficient for anything in the car side of Cadillac's stable right now.
  10. We should be good now. Carry on.
  11. Jed Bartlet
  12. You may see the site flicker on and off this morning as I make some changes. I'll knock it off around 9am EST.
  13. no... the newest stuff I have is from the 50s. Most of what I have is from the 30s and 40s like the ads on this web page.
  14. except I admit it....
  15. So is Chris Doane....
  16. What kinda mileage do these little buggers get?
  17. Lincoln's OHCs generate a pavement shredding 240hp in the Towncar and a least in class 300hp in the Navigator. The Towncar would actually be better off with a S/C 3800 as it gets the same torque at 500 rpm less.
  18. I can just ban the IP at the server level.....
  19. so... if I put up a paypal button, would some of you contribute to the "save a Toronado" fund?
  20. BS. The thing holding back the CTS-V was it's interior and it's tendency to wheel hop <this happens even on my CTS 3.6>, but both have been fixed in the new iteration. The press loved the powertrain setup. The Chrysler 300C does quite well too.... again it's not the pushrods that hold it back, it's the wonky interior, ergonomics, and the fact that you can buy a $21k 2.7 litre V6 with rubbermaid garbage can lid hubcaps, version.
  21. Did they tune it with the DI to make the same HP while delivering better economy? It's obviously not a 300hp engine or else they'd be shouting that too.
  22. well they'd have to find something to complain about.... it has cruise on the steering wheel, nav, and an MP3 input jack.
