  1. Good idea. Keep in mind though that NASA has had some difficulty converting between centimeters and inches in the past..... you don't want there to be some unfortunate confusion.
  2. Excel 2003 has a row limit of 65,535. Perhaps you should suggest she upgrade to Excel 2007 with it's 1,048,576 rows.
  3. This custom cruiser Solstice would make a better Oldsmobile.... it certainly has a nice silhouette. Solstice - Aurora... both celestial events... yet Auroras are all air, Oh but for Oldsmobile it would be intriguing to drive around in a car with such bravad....o in beautiful European towns like Calais. Certainly no one would accuse you of being in the 88 to 98 age range.
  4. do you live in a front plate state?
  5. There are 7 'mos in this thread alone. Your's truely included. We did a survey a while back and I think over 25% of this board is some "alternative" sexuality.
  6. Volt.... FTW.
  7. Lexus is the fastest growing luxury car company in Europe right now because a few years ago they had zilch. Even Cadillac has been there longer than Lexus. When you start with 0 vehicles and then sell 1,000 the percentages look great. And I don't understand... do you want Cadillac to be more like Lexus or more like BMW.... because they're fairly mutually exclusive...... Myself, I want Cadillac to be Cadillac.
  8. The NG Enclave, Acadia and Escalade are just what he's driving now.

    2 movies

Sweeney Todd... FTW Johnny Depp is awesome. Lots of blood, but the funny really fake kind. Looks like Testers Red Gloss. For those of you who don't know the story.... don't eat beforehand.
  10. And the DTS had night vision and Bose stereo. Touting the Mark Levinson as some great thing makes you sound like Ricardo Montelban touting "rich, Corinthian leather"
  11. uh, how many hybrid or diesels are offered by BMW, Mercedes, Audi, or Lexus in the US? Mercedes has two very slow selling diesels and Lexus has two hybrids... one of which is nearly universally panned. everyone else has nada. stop being down on Cadillac
  12. Well, this has gotten me motivated again. Gonna double up efforts to get the truck sold.
  13. Apparently my targeting sensors have pinpoint accuracy. The comment was meant specifically for your consumption. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. As of the middle of November I had my German bank accounts set up. as of now, my friends are purchasing a large two level, 3 bedroom, flat just off of Luxemburger Strasse. I will be renting a bedroom from them on the first floor. The married couple will live on the second floor. Their move in date would likely be around April '08. I will follow a few months later. The pictures I've seen of it are great! There will be more pictures coming.
  15. I hope GM doesn't succumb to those German surrender monkeys.
  16. Leave GM ALONE!
  17. Forget about negotiation with the Unions! GM needs to buyout PCS if they really want to cut their healthcare costs. Glad to hear you're at least somewhat ok.
  18. From the article: Sorry, this is just FUD. While I do believe there is a difference in economy between FWD and RWD, it's not great enough that there couldn't be a substantial improvement for both. As much as I like Lutz, I have to call him out on this as either a lie or intentional FUD. They do know how to get 30% better CAFE mileage from RWD cars. It's called FlexFuel. It's called 2-mode Hybrid. It's called new diesel technology. It's called E-Flex. The Volt comes out in 2010. The new CAFE regs hit 35mpg in what..2022? If GM can't expand E-Flex technology to cover full size sedans in 14 years, they should really just close up shop now and sell the whole thing off. edit: for those of you who don't read SlashDot.org, FUD means "Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt"
  19. well, I wasn't the one suggesting 40k for a Caprice, but I think it could run from 25k-35k with the right platform, engines, and equipment... yes If GM were to put the effort into it that they've put into the CTS and Malibu, the magazines would all be raving about Chevy's new Maxima/Avalon beater.
  20. OOOooo! Oooo! I know! PICK ME! What is the "W-Body"?
  21. Interesting. I hadn't heard of that. from the Wikipedia: Wow! For being into Biofuels like I am... I'm surprised I hadn't heard of this.
  22. I also vote "no" on the EOS.... at least not without a very comprehensive extended warrenty
  23. 9-3 Sedan: Turbo 4 for efficiency, yet still fun, reasonably roomy, new one is pretty good looking. edit: and the 4-cylinder, completely loaded with everything including NAV and bose is 32k, 33k if she wants an auto.

    Um Yay

what the hell kinda emoticon are you tryin to type Ocn?
  25. this just hit me. For the purposes of calulating CAFE, flexfuel vehicles get counted by the amount of gasoline they use when burning E85, not the total amount of the fuel. So something like the FlexFuel Tahoe gets counted as some crazy high rating like 80mpg or something. Back over at the RWD v. FWD debate on the Impala.... isn't the answer there just to make every engine option FlexFuel? 3.9 litre base <I know! groan! moan! bitching from the lot of you> and 5.3litre optional.
