  1. I really don't think cutting the zeta wagon for the US will have much impact at all on the overall zeta lineup. Remember, WE have CAFE, but GM still sells to Australia, the Middle East and China.

  8. Not everything needs to be a sports car. Sometimes premium just means a nice, well appointed, front driver for daily use. What the Milan attempts to be. One of the things I like about the Milan is that you can get a 4-cylinder completely loaded.

  12. I've wondered when we'd go to Lithium Ion batteries. They hold a charge better, they're lighter, and they aren't susceptible to cold temperatures like lead acid.
  13. They need something along the specifications of the N-body again. The Epsilon has gotten too big and heavy and the Delta is still too awkwardly packaged. This is a hole in the lineup. Something the size/weight of an Alero with NA and Turbo 4 cylinders only could be a hot seller in both the Pontiac/Chevy market and the Saturn/Buick market. The old Alero with an old EcoTec easily gets 35mpg highway. edit: and FWD... before the "everything must be RWD" crowd gets here.

  15. Lucerne is selling better than anything in it's class other than the Chrysler 300 which has a much lower base price and a much higher loaded price. Thetas are also some of the oldest on the market. There are new entries from Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Hyundai, Ford (2), Nissan, heck even the Dodge Nitro is newer. They did well while they were new and now it's time to replace them. Simple as that.
  16. final Gen rivieras have theirs under the rear seat Lincoln LS has it's battery in the trunk... contributed to the near 50/50 weight distribution. at Ford for canceling that platform.
  17. But it will be based on performance... and that's what these cars are about. Do you really think that M5 owners buy their car for the 20-way power seats... or the kick in the ass performance? How lame would it be when a CTS-V beats an M5 and the owner comes up with "Oh yeah!? Well, I have 20-way power seats and rear door sunshades!" Focus on what is important with this type of car. CTS-V production is limited to 7,000 per year. Cadillac will sell every one without discount.
  18. my comments weren't on quality, but rather style... and neither the C65 nor the M5 blow open the styling doors.
  19. incorrect and incorrect. 1. LT-1... in the Roadmaster and Fleetwood, one the the smoothest, quietest engines you could buy. 2. If you hadn't noticed, GM is consolidating engine lines. They are throwing their money at the HF family because of tools like you who whine about DOHC incessantly.
