  1. iiiiiii'm gonna leave that one alone....
  2. I'm betting that the Envoy sales have fallen not just because of the Acadia, but because it's a nearly 8 year old truck based SUV in a crossover market. The rest of your points have merit. The CR-V and RAV4 are neither small nor especially fuel efficient anymore though. When I think small SUV I think original Rav4, Tracker, Sportage, original CR-V. RAV-4 is approaching last generation Blazer size.
  3. Once and only once, the cruise control in my Cutlass has some sort of seizure and started accellerating the car gradually. As I was already doing 65 and in traffic, this became a problem. The cruise switch didn't respond, the brakes didn't cancel the the cruise, I ended up putting it in neutral and shutting off the car, but I lost power brakes and power steering. I took a chance and restarted the car while rolling and the cruise let it's grip go...... and it never happened again. No damage was done, but it was one of the scariest driving moments of my life.
  4. Happy birthday you fabulous men you!
  5. sunk cal.... the part that has broken off and fallen into the ocean
  6. "I *am* big. It's the *pictures* that got small."
  7. technologically, no merger has taken place and won't for at *least* two years. I like my XM radio in my Cadillac, I found that the Sirrius in one of my rental cars was very slow to respond to channel changes. That may have been a hardware issue though.
  8. bet the car flys....
  9. bull
  10. The Volt is powered by 200 cans of Red Bull
  11. "get some" in the hookup kinda way.... eh "get some" in the make love sorta way.... probably
  12. These should only come in black. Beautiful
  13. Important shopping tip. If you're looking for stuff not made in China.... don't shop at Walmart. The company I used to work for had "American" in it's name, but was still forced to send production of it's products produced for Walmart <and a few others> to China. The stuff that was produced in the US, Walmart wouldn't buy because it cost too much so it was sold to Macy's level stores.
  14. rough paraphrase, but I'll let it pass :AH-HA_wink:
  15. *checks the URL*... I must be on the wrong site.... am I being punked?!
  16. when I drove one, I was very surprised how good it's giddy-up was considering the engine under the hood and all the armchair bitching that goes on in this forum about it.
  17. No no..... This is clearly the blue devil mule....
  18. additionally.... if they *did* nuke the dollar... it would make imports of everything *far* more expensive. The dollar wouldn't just crash against Chinese currency, it would crash against the Euro and the Yen as well. Would Japan "crash" their own currency to keep it under the dollar just to keep exports to the U.S. up? We would see a sudden need to swing manufacturing back here but wouldn't be able to react fast enough to do it. Meanwhile the chinese have caused a global recession.
  19. fixed
  20. waaaay overboard with the brown
  21. See, I have a different goal than Camino... I want to travel around and see stuff. I don't plan to stay in any one place for very long. Camino wants a big barn away from everyone where he can tinker with cars. <at least that's my impression>
