Cadillac BLS In Depth
Um... because they are already redesigning the interior. If the NG CTS is an '08 we have about an 18 month wait till we see it. If it's anything like the renderings I've seen, every wish you have about the CTS's interior has been granted. The Catera was a decent car. I liked it especially after it's facelift. Cadillac needs a 3-series fighter. The BLS <should be BTS>, would be a good start assuming they can put an AWD system in it. Audi fights BMW just fine without rear wheel drive. The 9-3 is an econobox?

The type it attracts? Like the type of people that bought an X-type, TSX, last gen IS, C-class coupe or G20? You'll come back at me and say "Well none of them except the TSX sold very well". True, but they were poorly executed cars. <again, exept the TSX>. The BLS could sell ok if it was executed right. It's just what the expectations are set at. If they forcast for and built 30,000 of them they'd probably sell each and every one. 15,000 in the states, 10,000 in China, and 5,000 in Europe. Besides, they've obviously already bought the tooling for them. What's the problem with sticking them on a boat and seeing if you can move a few over here.

Except that the 9-3 and the BLS share a price point... so it's not that the BLS is based on a cheaper car. Your analagy would have been closer if you said the Cobalt is related to the G5 in the same way the 9-3 is related to the Cadillac.

Put an awsome AWD system in there and we'd overlook it I'm sure.

68 this is directed at you! The CTS is less then an inch different then the BMW 5-series in both overall length and in wheel base. STOP saying the CTS is a 3-series sized car. You are wrong today and you've been wrong every other time you've posted that "fact".

I don't think it is fair to compair an 83 Cavalier to a 2003 9-3.

Corvette - NEW SIX SPEED AUTOMATIC
The 5-speed in the CTS is usually smart enough to pick the right gear for you... even when pushing it hard. I would imagin the 6-speed would be similar.

Top 10 Gay Cars of 2006
Well the list was obviously written by a heterosexual.... and as representatives of the gay community, it's our job to keep it acurate.

Top 10 Gay Cars of 2006
That's what makes it fun! Besides, I don't really like gay people*..... so it's fun to poke fun at them. *even though I am gay people... and I mean gay people in general... the gay people on this site are cool. Doesn't it suck when your P.S. is longer then your original post?

Top 10 Gay Cars of 2006
Honda Element.... just.... no. No trendy gay man would buy one of those. Elements are more for the "nester" type. A trendy gay man would buy a 3-series. The 3-series is even MORE of a status symbol in gay-land. Every young gay guy wants one without knowing why. Some say it's genetic others say it's do to trauma during their youth. I still say it's hogwash and you can choose to not like BMW if they really wanted to. I sometimes think that my ambivilance towards BMW has turned into dislike simply because of the sneers I get from young gay BMW owners <and young gay Jetta owners who wish they could afford a BMW>, when they find out I drive a CTS.

A quote I love...
They found the Olds in Ohio, the Benz in Buffalo, NY and Maxima in LA. The Benz was in terrible shape and needed work before they could get it to run. $1400 The Olds was owned by a Dubya Dubya 2 vet and they picked it up for $750. The Maxima had 235k miles on it, but Nissan SoCal gives the car a free going over before the race. $1500 The guys in the Olds won the race/scavanger hunt. All of the cars will be for sale on E-bay starting March 21.

Buy me a truck!
OK... so I know it's not the original criteria... but I think I'm going to go for an '07 Avalanche. I really liked the current Avalanche that I test drove* and I think the improvments on the new model are significant enough to wait for it. The selling point for me was the versitility. It is fairly rainy here in PGH so I need something with a cover over the cargo area. I also need to haul appliances, so the cover needs to come off easily <no truck with a cap>. The bed liner is good for hauling dirt and such and I can hose it out when I'm done, <no safari van>. and when I need to haul larger stuff, I can fold the rear seats down. One thing I really liked is that I can fold the rear seats down and still leave the rear glass and bed cover on. This means that I can still haul 8 foot sheets of drywall in the rain. So, I'll let you guys know when I make my move. Thank you for all your advice.
