A few notes to cellular customers
Also, much like car dealerships, I pretty much assume that anything told to me by a cellular rep is a lie.

A few notes to cellular customers
I got a Razr too. I like it cause it's small, I don't need another large bulge in my pants. :P  The unfortunate thing about T-mobile RAZRs is they are locked to only one band. They are a quad band phone, yet you can't get any of the benefits of quad band. The best network to use the RAZR on is Cingular.

Sexual Preference
Regarless of whether or not gay is in fact genetic, there is no reason genetically for it to cease to exist. I am the offspring of two brown haired, brown eyed heterosexual parents. Yet I am blond haired, blue eyed, and homosexual. Recessive genes can be passed on.

Modern Culture
This thread is just not going to end well. Every one is different. Every family is different. There is no such thing as the "traditional family". The "traditional family" is offen described as the Clevers in T.V. land and is about as realistic.

The 4.3 wasn't the LT-1. You're looking for the specs on the 5.7

Buick Announces Pricing for All New 2006 Lucerne
The Northstar has substantially more torque and by virtue of being an 8 v. 6, I'd also say that the torque comes on sooner.

Why Do You Love GM So Much?
Uh... not really. The Avalon is FWD, the LS is RWD

Buick Announces Pricing for All New 2006 Lucerne
Well, if sipping gas is a criteria for the Lucerne, I'm afraid to say that the 3.6vvt isn't the answer. I'm lucky to see 28 highway, I get 18 around town.

Well that is silly! I'm a power C&Ger. I have to be able to dash through these forums praising GM and bashing Toyonda quickly now! snap snap snap... let's get moving!

Whenever I post a message and then hit "View New Posts" I get a Flood control error saying that I have to wait 10 seconds. I'm not actually trying to post again. I just want to view the new stuff.

More UAW Workers Bankrupt
General rule of thumb is that you should never be more in debt then three times what you make annually. And save at least 10% of your salary over and above the 10% you should be putting away for retirement. He's making 100k a year. 10% of the into savings of 28 years would be 280,000 not counting any interest. I'll be kind and say that even if he only saved 1/4 of that he'd still have 70k saved up. More then enough to cover a 16k shortfall in salary for one year and give him some time to make some life adjustments to lower his expenses. I'm guessing he hasn't put anything into savings for retirement.... counting on that pension eh? I'm supposed to cry for this guy because he has money management issues?

Buick Announces Pricing for All New 2006 Lucerne
The Aurora, while a great car, was not enough to bring Olds back from the brink. The Intrigue and Alero were still W-bodies and N-bodies respectively. Oddly, Buick is almost exactly where Olds was when it died. 1. Excellent new G-body <Lucerne/Aurora> 2. Good but not great W-body <LaCross/Intrigue> 3. Unloved SUV <Rainier/Bravada> 4. Unloved Mini-van <Terraza/Sillioette> 5. Recently demised yet popular full sized family car <LeSabre/Eighty Eight> 6. Recently demised full sized luxury car <Park Ave/ Ninety Eight> The only real difference is that Olds had the Alero and Buick has the Rendevous. Both of which sell well, but don't have enough volume to hold their respective brands.

Why Do You Love GM So Much?
But seriously folks, My Gram had one of these diesel beasts when I was a little kid: I was the one that got to tell her when the "Wait to start" light would go out and I always got to press the garage door opener button. It was waaaay cooler then my Mom's Subaru wagon and my other grandmother's VW Rabbit Diesel. It went "wacka wacka wacka" just like fozzy bear. My neighbor had an e-body eldorado and an e-body seville. I've alwasy loved those cars, especially the e-body Eldorado.
