Imagine trying to find that in a parking lot! :blink:

Next GMT-360s
I think Buick could have a Lamda Rendevous to compete with the RX. Saab/Saturn <whichever> could have a Lamda 9-6x to compete with the MDX. Chevy could have both a Lamda and a GMT-360.... after all, Toyota has the Highlander and the 4Runner. GMC could have just have the GMT-360 Cadillac can stick with Sigma and GMT-900 models. No SUVs,Crossovers,CSVs, for Pontiac.

The Canary in the Mineshaft.
Try getting UPS or Fedex to move that standard business envelope for 37 cents, across country in about a week. Let us know how that turns out. UPS builds in $100 of insurance that you'll get your package in one piece. They charge you an additional 40ish cents per $100 of additional insurance. What people like you fail to realize is that we all pay for health insurance. You pay into Medicare and SS. You pay for it in the price of items you buy. If the government paid for healthcare it would just shift the collection point of the money. Personally I'd like to see government run healthcare because it sicken's me to see the obsenely lavish offices of Highmark Blue Cross here in Pittsburgh. The Execs that run these healthcare companies are the ones that are benefitting the most from the high healthcare prices.

Car names that should die/stay dead
I think Chrysler could get away with reusing some of it's older, more important sounding names. Imagine a LX based car, perhaps a lil stretch in the wheel base, geared more on the luxury side of the spectrum. Base around 38k. V8 standard. called the Imperial A front drive large mid-sized car to replace the Sebring called the Ambassador with a Dodge varient called the Diplomat. A neon sized car could be called the Rambler, and a sub-neon sized car could be called the Metropolitan. I'm only half joking....

I think it's the front that really strikes the resemblance chord with me. I see it more of an evolution thing. Kind of like how you can tell that a '06 Deville is related to a '84 Deville... but one is obviously older then the other.

TOYOTA=LIARS
I think the difference is with attitude. GM is like. "Yeah, we fucked up, but we've got some great stuff now! Why don't you come on down and take a look?" Toyota is like. "You aren't driving a Toyota already? What is wrong with you? Everyone knows Toyota is the best and loves puppies, clean air, and American jobs"

I think Aspen would have made sense on a completey different vehicle. It sounds more like an SUV name.

Let's just say that I'm not the biggest fan of the 300. I think it's looks have more in common with the last Diplomat then anything else in the Chrysler line. It has questionable ergonomics and the downmarket models feel very downmarket. Sure it has RWD and a big V8, but there is more to a car then that. I'm not saying its a bad car, I liked it at first, but I'm over the looks now. I've driven a few rentals and rode in a top-o-the-line a few times and they drive and handle fine. I threw in the comment about the CTS because the CTS gets panned for it's interior so often.

I'm not sure what they put on the Chrysler Diplomat Touring, but the base model Dipomat I drove from Enterprise had a very crappy feeling dash. It made the dash in my CTS feel luxurious.

TOYOTA=LIARS
And we're glad for that. Because right now if it weren't for the biggie GM SUVs there probably wouldn't be a GM. The Sequoia is a dirtier polluter and a bigger fuel drinker then the GMs.

What do you want them to do? Advertise "The EPA test of 60mpg for the Prius is wrong, it's really 45mpg."

I think the Ambassador name should come back. Chrysler owns it now don't they? Certainly would be better then Avenger. :-P Riviera and ElDorado should come back. I'd love for a premium Buick above Lucerne to be called Roadmaster or Invicta. Either name is fine with me. Probe, Stratus, Avenger should all stay dead.

Not the I am a Toyota defender, but Toyota is REQUIRED to post the mileage numbers that the EPA determines. They have no choice.

But actually touch that grey dash material. It feels awfull!. It's the same stuff they use in the downmarket 300s and Magnums.

Worst concept interior ever
That looks like the interior of my dad's 1993 F-150

- Strongest GM Brands
I'd like to point out the vaugeness of this question. Being a strong brand does not always equal having the most sales. Cadillac is one of the strongest brands at the moment even though Pontiac probably out sells it. In a matter of 3 years Cadillac has changed it's image into one of badass, in your face luxury and sport. What is pontiac's image right now? Driving excitement? With that lineup? I don't think so. To back up my arguement, which brand is stronger? Porche or Volkswagon? Mazda or Ford? Hummer or Mitsubishi? The point here is, the first collumn in my list is a strong brand, yet the second collumn is a weak brand that sells a hell of a lot more vehicle then the first collumn.- '06 Impala Fit-and-Finish

I never get any PMs. :( :( :(- 2006 Car and Truck of the Year Nominees

I'm not saying the S/C 3800 wasn't powerful. Just that the 4.0 NS is more refined and smoother.- Future Cadillac powertains
36-speed transmissions from Allison should be standard in the Cadillac line. </sarcasm> The only thing a 7-speed transmission does is highlight your engine's lack of power. Why is it that Chevy used to be able to race with 2-speed powerglides? I love my CTS, but it annoys me that it has to kick down out of 5th gear to get me up a slight incline at 55mph. My friend's '94 Roadmaster almost never kicks down going over the mountains at highway speed and that is a 4speed auto. I'm sure the 345 ft/lbs torque has something to do with it. - Strongest GM Brands
