I still really have no repairs to report on it. We're about 15 days from the 24 month mark on ours. I just submitted the buyout paperwork on the lease. It just goes in for oil changes and that's it. It will probably get its first new set of tires in late fall. -

I agree, the acceleration is about half a second slower than I'd want. I hope the Colorado/Canyon diesel is a bit quicker. I like everything about the Ram Ecodiesel other than that, though. Reviews say paired to the 8-speed auto, the truck just surfs a wave of immense torque so it doesn't feel slow until you're gunning it. Yeah, the torque off the line is fantastic, you never feel slow unless you're flooring it and realize there is nothing left above what you normally drive. However, you can do that with a 20ft boat out back and your acceleration will basically be unchanged.

I'm interested in it because, while I do need a truck for short distance hauling, I also need a vehicle that is comfortable for long distance trips.... not with any payload or anything... just something a sedan could accommodate. But I don't have room for two vehicles. A low-mileage Avalanche is the top of my list right now, but if I find a deal on an EcoDiesel Ram.... well...

Man... seriously... you're making stuff up... the Avalon and the ES share the same platform and same wheel base. There is no significant size difference between the two. -

I wouldn't call the Audi TT a sales success anymore... What he's saying is that the Genesis can't compete with the Mustang and Camaro... or even Challenger. -
because the V-Sport ATS will be more than just a 335i competitor. If it were to come with a 3.0TT, as you can see from the order guide, it gets upgraded brakes and other stuff. If it is anything like the other V-Sport models, it will have actual performance credentials. It won't be a direct competitor to a 335i... it will be above it. But with 335 pricing and ATS-V pricing in mind, I don't see how that's a possibility. The CTS V-Sport is a $7,000 premium over the Base CTS V6. Assuming a similar upcharge for the ATS V-Sport you're looking at $50k base....

It's mostly because the car does most of the driving for you. Well, I'm not oblivious to that fact. That's precisely why it'd be faster. Hell, that's what the GT-R was built for in the first place. A GT3 may be able to beat the GT-R with a pro behind the wheel, but that doesn't change the fact that most people could go way quicker in the Nissan than the Porsche. Doesn't make me like the GT-R anymore, or the Porsche (or Z06) any less. I'd rather have a standard C7 Z51 over a GT-R, even a NISMO one. I like the Stingray mostly for the fact that it doesn't have to be at Battle Stations all the time. If you just want to sit back and cruise, it is perfectly happy to do so. Aside from cargo issues, there is no reason one couldn't use a Stingray as a daily. The GT-R is much more trigger happy.

True to all that. And the C63 has the best interior, best turning circle, largest trunk and somehow the best EPA fuel economy rating, best passing power. I also would skip the carbon brakes and save $5,400. The Nissan GT-R can hammer a Corvette in a 0-60 sprint and beat it on a race track, yet I doubt the Corvette fans here would buy a GT-R just because it is has a good Nurburgring time and video game launch control. Cadillac has put the performance in the ATS-V, but all three of these cars are basically the same (imagine if the Lexus IS-F was in that test, it would be have been embarrassed). But the same issues the base ATS has with interior space, interior trim, CUE, etc are all still there. Really I think all 3 of these cars are $5-10,000 over priced, the base models of all these are like $35,000 and these cars are near $80,000. Oh yes.. because the ability to make a U-Turn is a huge concern to every buyer. The EPA rating on the ATS-V is super conservative. Take it out on the highway and drive it like your grandmother is in the back seat, you'll get into the mid-30s.

At the moment, I think the only way to do that is to build the Commercial vans somewhere else. I suppose with the expansion of Arlington, they could move there, but there won't be any further production increases for the 2016 model year that we haven't already heard about.

Drew. this was my post that created such an outrage, and kindly note, it's all about numbers. And I provided the analysis of those numbers that you omitted.
