  1. Coming from anyone else, that might seem weird and creepy. But coming from reg it just seems......right.

20 years down the road "That thing got a Hemi?" is going to be mocked and vilified. Or at least it had better. I cant think of a GM ad worse than Dodge's campain. You can argue that the Catera ads for "The Caddy that Zigs" were as bad, but those at least had a hot chick.
  4. There were a lot of cupcake games, Texas stomped Northern Texas 56-7, Nebraska had almost 600 yards of offense against Louisiana Tech, Missouri put the brakes on in the second half after getting a 35-0 lead against Murray State at the half (w00t!) and Oklahoma State beat Missouri State (my occasional alma matter) 52-10. Just looking at Big 12 scores, a lot of freaky $h! went on today, like Iowa State beating Toledo 45-43 in triple OT.Oh, and Cal looked really bad from that parts I was able to see.
  5. Ok, so much for my Arkansas upset prediction. There were a lot of impressive games today just looking at the scoreboards. Penn State looked very good against Akron in the parts of the game I saw, especially on defense. And the second half of Notre Dame-Georgia Tech was awesome. I didn't get to see the first half, but that second half as just great. ND managed to win ugly, lots of penalties, worst FG kicker EVER! (exaggeration) a lot of things could have gone wrong for them but the D help GT to 10 points.
  6. Chrome mirror caps rarely look good, in fact a lot of times they look gaudy, the rest of your ideas dont sound bad.
  7. Be honest, if that thing had been built by Toyota, you'd be calling it a $h!box that needs to be destroyed. And attack my choice of buying a Fusion if you'd like, but at least I can actually back up my words as a domestic enthusiast by buying a new domestic car. When is the last time you did that? Or anything that helped the struggling bottom line of any domestic automaker? And I was able to buy and insure it as well as part of my girlfriend's mortgage and my tuition, so obviously my financial situation shouldn't be called into question. And you mention sodomy a lot more than I do. Its just an avatar, jesus get over it.

Taking a drive down some back roads can be quite theraputic. Thats not what NOS was doing if he was at the same stoplight as some assbag several times.
  9. SWB-short wheelbase-Malibu LWB-Long Wheelbase-Malibu Maxx/G6/Aura LWB has a lot more back seat legroom, though both platforms are still pretty narrow.
  10. There would be no whining if rental companies didn't get huge discounts on the cars, but since GM sells them to Enterprise, etc for next to nothing it hurts GM's bottom line (although it makes the sales charts look nice) as well as resale value (which doesn't matter too much to GM) and it gives GM the reputation of being the disposable rental car company, which I doubt generates many new sales.
  11. It looks like a Bugeye Sprite with a severe oxycontin addiction. And having respect for something just because its GM does indeed make you a lemming, no better than people who think the xB is cool because its a Toyota.
  12. Yes, although it would be amusing watching the enitre country fight against Arkansas.

  14. I burned What is Love onto a cd one time, just for the hell of it. It started playing once while my ex and I were driving somewhere and we started doing that. Dorkiest moment of my life.

  16. Not if they have to sell all of the cars with huge rebates, which they do because the cars are so old and below the competition that price is the only thing they have going for them. Unless you count gigantic overhangs and a really low back seat as positives.
  17. Kill the Emo A game for you to waste time on.
  18. Coming down from an insanely high record isn't horrible. There is no way they're going to sell 90k trucks a month regularly, thats almost 1.1 million a year. Gas is still pretty expensive and the F-150 is a couple of years old, though still better than what the competition has right now.

I just fail to see the purpose of driving up and down the street with a bunch of other horny high schoolers trying to pick up skanky high school chicks. Thats all cruising is. And it is very much for high school tools, the ones who need to be told whats cool.

Google it (world's shortest boy), you can get his name in any number of the articles that come up and if you google his name you can get pics. Damn, my kid wont get that record, he was born 21 inchestall. And lust under nine and a half pounds. I wonder if my three week old could take this kid in a fight.
  21. Um, those are still last months sales numbers. And I assume you haven't driven an Aerio based on the way you seem excited about it. You know all of those complaints about your 500 (noisy, throttle response, jerky transmission)? Those are extremely apparent in the first five minutes of an Aerio test drive. The one I drove (AWD hatch) had more wind and road noise at 35moh than my Fusion has at 60. Plus the cargo room didn't seem too great and the seats are muy uncomfortable. The only thing the Aerio has going for it is price (could've gotten a loaded one w/AWD for like $15.5) and safety.

  23. Well, its here, college football season gets in full swing in a few hours. We've got #2 Notre Dame-Georgia Tech, #1 Ohio State-Northern Illinois (blowout?) and #6 USA-Arkansas (I'm predicting upset city).

First of all, cruising is for tools NOS. Secondly, I've never intentionally squealed the tires of the Fusion and rarely floor it. The stock tires on the Fusion are extremely noisy around corners no matter the speed. Anytime I'm turning and hear that annoying "SQUEEEEEK" sound I think to myself "I need Michelins."
