  1. They should have 1 sports coupe called the Mark (insert #) and that's it! Lincoln is so downscale that the only thing that can class it up are some classy names. Town Car, Continental, Cosmopolitan, Versailles, etc.
  2. More generic boringness for Buick. Should be perfect for the type of person that used to buy Lexus.
  3. oh and the rust channels on the hood remind me of the old sebring. ugly.
  4. The rear is ugly from the side view. The headlights are going to end up much bigger in the production version which will ruin the look of the front end. I'm not a big fan of the horizontal surfaces running along the sides of the car. Its a step in the right direction but it doesn't go far enough.
  5. Ford was dumb to leave this market. the Ranger was still selling well.
  6. we shouldn't be subsidizing corn or petroleum. its not like they are going to stop selling ethanol fuels.
  7. Drop the 2.5 now. Who needs a Cadillac with under 200hp? Epic Fail for GM if they make the 2.5 the base engine. If they do decide to include it, they should make it an option (and upcharge) for the dipsh*ts that insist on having it!
  8. Oh thank God. I'm so glad I read that wrong! 260-280 hp turbo definitely makes the Malibu a much nicer vehicle than the Regal.
  9. Looks like its going to be a winner! I'm glad that they aren't dumbing down Dodge the way GM does with Chevrolet.
  10. Since Chevrolet is also now playing the role of Pontiac, I think they need a more powerful performance engine. 190 hp turbo? lame.
  11. This car is not attractive from any angle. Maybe Iwamura is also the genius behind the Acura shield grille.
  12. Just reveal the Cadillac ATS already! We didn't even get an ATS concept car. The ATS better be perfect in every way. If it has anything questionable about its styling or only comes with a stick shift at launch or anything else dumb like that, I'm not going to wait any longer. I will move on to another brand.
  13. It would be great if the light sensed you were going to run the red and stayed yellow longer.
  14. I hate to say this but maybe GM should buy an equity stake in Saab and build the cars in Mexico and China for the world market and in Europe for the European market.
  15. It looks great so far and much sportier than the Cruze sedan. I cant wait to see a coupe version of this. The interior is going to be the make or break deal on this car. Let's hope Dodge doesn't dumb it down just because its a compact.
  16. While it look s a little better why is it still so ugly??? The rear still needs a major overhaul. They would have been better off just rebadging the ford version with a waterfall grill and some exclusive colors.
  17. No. Republicans have gotten enough concessions. If they want to axe this they need to give something up.
  18. or Vice-versa. This is more like Daimler destroying Chrysler. At least Suzuki wised up before VW had a chance to take all the pieces it wanted while giving nothing in return.
  19. It looks nice from the front. The side is bad, really bad. It looks outdated and what is up with the sunken side panels?? It looks like it was side-swiped. The interior is just ok. I'm not a fan of pop up screens blocking the windshield. also the radio/hvac controls seem a little wide spaced. With that being said, its probably gonna be a top seller. People buy BMWs for the way they drive and not the way they look. Pity.
  20. I don't think it gets cross shopped with the Smart, Fiat or Mini... its not a coupe and its not unique. It looks like ripped off Asian styling and too many doors. Who, besides Wee-Man and/or Kate Moss is going to get into those back doors? And how reassuring is it to sit up against the back of a vehicle... you can look out the rear window and look eye to eye at the SUV bumper a foot away. It doesn't have the style of the mini but its much more attractive than a smart car. I think this car will appeal to people that think Smart cars cost too much. Only time will tell.
  21. I couldn't disagree more. This needs to be passed down to the other brands sooner than later. Cadillac needs to keep innovating and not rest on its laurel wreath. Cadillac needs to be thinking about whats next by the time this is rolled out.
  22. I think it will sell OK. I wouldn't buy one but I'm sure it appeals to the type of people that would buy a smart car or fiat 500. It doesn't seem like a penalty box.
  23. Finally Cadillac goes kicking and screaming into the modern age! I can't wait for my Cadillac ATS or XTS... decisions, decisions.
