  1. I hope the whole thing fails and all the Fiat brands disappear. If it's no longer an American company why should I care?
  2. Ditch the letters. I own a Cadillac and will buy another Cadillac. I think ATS is a terrible name. SRX sounds cheap. The only name that has any clout is CTS but i would love to see that name go. I'd prefer to be driving a Seville, Deville, Eldorado, etc over any of these dumb sounding alphabet names. If I wanted a German car I would buy one. Please go back to naming your cars Cadillac.
  3. This same thing happened in my 1997 Cavalier causing the steering wheel to lock in a turn but luckily I was able to get the car into neutral and get the car restarted before I crashed. I have a feeling that this recall will get bigger over time. I resolved the issue by switching to my spare key which was still crisp and sharp unlike the worn key that I was using.
  4. Dutch companies have a nasty habit of going out of business.
  5. GM should bid on this. For this super cheap price they basically could pick up technology and platforms that it would cost them 10 or 20 times as much to develop in house.
  6. Queue the wing nuts. "The regulation would set new rear visibility standards for light vehicles sold in the United States" This is pure speculation that cameras would be mandatory. It clearly states that manufacturers might react by making cameras standard. Some people just love to complain.
  7. I hope the ATS coupe looks nothing like the bloated CTS coupe. Let them build a 3rd gen CTS coupe monstrosity but please give us a classy ATS coupe.
  8. They sell more models in other countries and a bigger line-up results in more sales. I don't understand why they got rid of the S40 here because that is still the car that I see the most.
  9. Fiat and Smart are irrelevant in the USA. Time to make an exit?
  10. Keep the chicken tax. It's not like Ford or GM are suddenly going to sell millions of American made vehicles in Europe if the tax situation changes.
  11. I'd have to see the new logo before I make any judgement but I like the wreath and what it symbolizes.
  12. Please give it a decent interior. The Thai version has a horrible cheap looking interior. Maybe they can just borrow something from their parts bin.
  13. I don't see anything luxurious about this car. Is Audi a near luxury brand? Or just high priced?
  14. I have zero complaints other than I can't buy one right now. I love this car and will do whatever it takes to get one ASAP.
  15. I haven't chimed in for awhile but I can't stay silent. The new Cherokee is stupid ugly. It makes the Aztek look attractive. Too much chrome for women to find attractive and headlights that are too feminine for a Jeep. The whole front needs to be reworked. Scrap the angry eyebrow LEDs, scrap the lower chrome fascia... oh they won't listen.
  16. It might be wise for Tesla and Fisker to offer non-hybrid versions of their vehicles to increase volumes and decrease manufacturing costs. There must be some kind of 4 cylinder engine technology they could buy from another manufacturer. It could be win-win.
  17. First they need a decent Lincoln to sell! What are they thinking?
  18. Seems like they should have shortened the overall length of the vehicle but left the wheel base the same. That would have made more sense. GM still doesn't get it when it comes to interiors. Beauty and functionality please.
  19. Maybe it is time for Lincoln to die. That thing is hideous. It's hard to believe that Lincoln's were once Presidential limousines.
  20. I have a feeling that the Opel version will be a warmed over LaCrosse/Saab 9-5 instead of the XTS. They do share the same architecture don't they?
  21. The automatic in the GS is too little too late. It should have launched with an automatic option while the car was still fresh. Now the car is completely out-classed and can't compete in this segment. They could have sold so many more last year if they had launched with an automatic option.
