This thing looks incredible. Apple is truly on the cutting edge (even though I would never use MacOS on a computer).
  2. Yes, exactly. It's the same thing as the Japanese voluntary export quotas of the 80s: volume was restricted, so they added toys and filled the quota with more expensive cars (higher profit). This actually ended up helping the Japanese producers in the long run, and it can help Pontiac here.
  3. This really worries me. How on earth is it so much heavier than anything else?
  4. You can tell that this car was done as cheaply as possible. It has a huge front bumper that sticks out (every other modern car has a seemless, integrated bumper), the grill is as plain as can be, the headlights are not interesting in the least, and every body panel is blocky and straight and looks to be done so that costs are as low as possible. The interior design is passable, but I'm sure it is as cheap as the exterior.
  5. I don't really like the Holdens, but this will do as a stopgap. V8 only is fine since production is limited, and you might as well sell all you can at a higher pricepoint.
  6. Well GMX-001 is the Cobalt and GMT-001 is the HHR, but I'm not sure what LNF is.
  7. Just by looking at it you can tell this thing wreaks of cheap.
  8. This always seems to happen with leaked threads, but please continue discussion at the two official threads: 2008 Cadillac CTS Image Gallery 2008 Cadillac CTS Press Release
  9. That's prolly a year at least from being at an auto show...
  10. These pictures are awful. I'll wait for the real debut pictures.
  11. I don't like the new grill, but at least they're finally offering nav.
  12. Looks a bit like a whale, but you can't argue with the room back there.
  13. I think the next generation of Kappa will have cars with similar proportions.
  14. The exterior is mildly interesting, but the interior looks awful and there is no way this will stay competitive for very long, if it is even competitive when it launches.
  15. Too bad it doesn't have more power...
  16. The interior still looks way too snazzy for production, and a lot of the details are stupid (the gear numbers engraved into the console, the competely illegible speedo, etc), but I think the production version will look pretty sweet.

Could someone post a picture comparison?
  18. Does a scan of this magazine exist anywhere?

Doesn't boxing day refer to a physical box, not the "sport"?
  20. Good guy, forgettable president. The news outlets went really overboard on this IMO.
  21. That would be extremely early. They don't start production until 2009.
  22. Wow, that's pretty exciting. Be sure to take plenty of pictures!
  23. Interesting concept, but a bit too "out there". I think with some tweaks it would look OK in a few years.
