Saw the new 2008 LaCrosse
I recently rode in a Buick LeSabre taxi. It was the previous generation. I had forgotten how pleasurable a Buick was, with it's quiet, serene ride. And yesterday in a bright mid-day sun, a vision in pearl effect white, a new Buick Lucerne...it was a stunner. Really the first time this car really stood out for me. It finally said 'Buick' to me.

2008 Infiniti M (Facelift)
They saw the light. The earlier tailights were bloated. This is actually a good looking car now.

Jeep JT caught...
I'd buy a Jeep Wrangler pickup in a heartbeat. It has that rugged look that pickups used to have. Here's one from the past:

Official 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser Pics
Toyota styling really is so stereotypically Japanese. And they seem to be going further than ever in that direction. It's never appealed to me, except for the mini Challenger clone, the first Celica.

It feels good
I really like the word 'perplexed'.

Seen any hot cars?
Saw a new Aston Martin Vantage fly by on the freeway. It has such presence that even in the corner of my eye as it approached, I knew it was something special. There are no adjectives accurate enough to describe it.

The Future of Buick - Autoweek
Buick Excelle for N.America? I hope that is just some scary, horrifying rumor. At times, I have to question why I like Buick. That affection is really based on it's distant past. The Buick of today is so far removed from what it once was that it's not even recognizable. Everytime I see a mediocre Lucerne or LaCrosse/Allure, or the hideous Rendezvous, the insipid Terraza, the who cares Rainier, I just cringe.

The Future of GMC - Autoweek
Honestly I don't know how they could improve the new GMC Sierra. Everyday I walk by a black crewcab Sierra Denali....perfection. I have to have one of those. Didn't know the Canyon was selling so poorly. That is a surprise.

The Future of Cadillac - Autoweek
I'm so surprised that the SRX is experiencing poor sales. You wouldn't know it here, they are a common sight on the road.

G37 Coupe Revealed
The current coupe is the only Asian car I've ever liked. And I like this one too. Hugely popluar in my city. Amazed how many I see everyday.

My New Silverado
I was just thinking that bobo. They don't look as good in lighter colors. And one of the reasons is, they have the inside of the fender wells painted same color of the truck...looks very cheap. Dark colors don't show up so much in this area.

My New Silverado
Exactly, glad you stood your ground. I worry, that the extended cab may fade away one day. I still like how they look. I always liked the look of those Business Coupes from the 30s and 40s....extended cabs remind me of those.

Reynolds-Alberta Museum
I definitely have to take that in. There's an appeal to seeing these vehicles in their original state. I understand Reynolds Museum has a huge collection that the public never sees.

My New Silverado
Bud!...congratulations!!! Beautiful truck. Very nice. It's refreshing to see an extended cab version, don't see many around, everyone seems to be getting the 4-door version. I luv these new GM trucks.

The Simpsons Movie
The genius of The Simpsons never ended. Each episode is fresh and funny. I can't wait to see this movie. The creator of 'The Family Guy' has been mulling over whether to do a full length movie. I hope so.

R.E.Olds Transportation Museum
Thanks Ninety Eight, a great idea. I got to thinking, my ultimate vacation would be a road trip travelling to as many automobile museums as I could. I have to do that one day.

Reynolds-Alberta Museum
Very cool, yes. In fact there is a viewing lounge and you can watch them restore the Nomad and other cars and trucks, they often have many projects on the go. Facinating stuff. It's like I'm in heaven when I checkout places like this, celebrating car culture. They have a great automotive/machinery library and giftstore as well....it makes for a perfect day.

Hey thanks bud, for that warm regard...nice to be here. Ninety Eight, tell us about being a member of the museum. Sounds like a good idea, giving that support.
