  1. With the problems with the Pontiac g-6, and the Saab 9-3 convertible selling so poorly, should GM spread their reach and rebadge one of those as a Buick? Buick is the only GM car line without a convertible, and doesn't GM owe Buick customers and loyalists a convertible after teasing us with the Velite? I mean if they can rebadge the Terrazza and Rainer...
  2. If it is going to be over 30K, rebadge it as a Buick.
  3. These portholes don't look good, but I think all Buicks should have some sort of portholes.

  5. I think it's a good piece of work. I think Buick engineers might make the roofline a little less sports-coupe. I'd like to see portholes, but other than that...its well done.
  6. Thanks for all the info on the new Buicks. Great stuff and it has many of us very excited about Buick's future. I have a couple of questions. Were there any possible names being discussed for the crossover? Are Buick dealers pushing for the Velite convertible?
  7. Nice pictures! I'm curious, why would the Lucerne be in Oshawa?
  8. I think they should add a "Roadmaster" or "Estate Wagon" option with wood finish on the side.
  9. This is exciting stuff for Buick. I don't like the Centieme name, but the concept is beautiful.
  10. Great info! Thanks! The Detroit show is 2 and 1/2 months away so we'll be seeing that baby soon.
  11. Tell us, please! When is Velite coming? Any info would be helpful.
  12. thanks for the info...I hope the Velite comes soon. I have a BMW convertible that is getting old and needs to be traded in.
  13. Excellent, thanks for the info. We are thinking of getting a Lacrosse, but maybe we should wait for the new one. By the way, Josh...you seem to have an inside track to inside info at Buick. Do you know anything about the Velite? My dealer friend says all he know is that the whole thing is on hold. Anything more? I would buy it in a second. Buick needs a convertible, like now.
  14. are we sure it is the next LaCrosse? Could it be a Velite or a new coupe?
  15. what does "be with us tonight? mean?

Very cool. Thanks for sharing it.
  17. I'm curious about this Vegas show. 1. Any other cars there? 2. Any news on the Velite? 3. Any name for the Centieme/Rendezvous replacement?
  18. I think the portholes on the LaCrosse is a great idea. I'm curious about this Vegas show. 1. Any other cars there? 2. Any news on the Velite? 3. Any name for the Centieme/Rendezvous replacement?
  19. does 2007 mean it comes out next summer?
  20. Not Arnold, but Karp in Rockville. I called over there and asked.
  21. A dealer near me (LI, NY) says they are hoping to have a Lucerne in by the end of the month! He's been told things are a little behind schedule and it may be November. Can't wait to drive one.
  22. I'd also like to see the return of a big cruiser...sort of like those Roadmasters from the 90's!
  23. Is it possible the chrome is only on the CXS, to tell it apart? In some of the pictures on buick.com, the grill looks chrome and others it doesn't.
  24. Is this an option?
  25. I love Buicks. My parents drove them and still do, and I learned how to drive on a LeSabre and an Estate Wagon. My first car was a Skylark. It rocked. Buicks have impeccable quality, power, and in most cases, pretty cool styling. I'd love to buy one, but they need to make a car for 30-somethings, without abandoning their core market. Here's what GM should do with Buick: 1. Develop a coupe. Lexus has one, so does Mercedes, Infiniti, Acura and Volvo. If you want to be a premium brand, you need a 2 door. For most of Buick's existence, they've offered one, except for the past 8 years or so. Remember Skylark, LeSabre, Riviera, and Regal? 2. Ditto for convertible. The Velite concept is one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. Everybody raved about, and GM instead gives Buick the Terrazza?? WTF? 3. Lucerne. I like this car, but wish it had more Buick tail lights, and a chrome grill. 4. Lacrosse. I've driven one and it is a great car. I think the rear end needs some tweaking and give it portholes. 5. Station wagons and crossovers are coming back. Mercedes, Audi and BMW and Volvo have wagons. Buick needs one.
