  1. Vauxhall = Opel. Opel is the center piece of GME. GME is the "homeroom" for all mid-sized, front-drive vehicles (read: Epsilon II). In a nutshell, don't you worry about Vauxhall! :AH-HA_wink:

  8. Three cheers for the Z/28! :AH-HA_wink:
  9. Hmm ... interesting! :AH-HA_wink: For the record, he said it and I did not!
  10. I really like that headlamp treatment, and it is very befitting of an SS model Malibu like yours. It looks really good. And I agree with everyone who said that you should find a set of similar lamps for your G6. I do not mind chrome trim around the housing of a set of projector-style headlamps (if the housing is canister-shaped), but I do think that having the whole housing chrome as in the units on your Malibu before the switch and your G6 is not very aesthetically pleasing and come across as a little cheap, honestly.
  11. I am so sorry to hear about your car. That is a real shame. I consider myself lucky that no vehicle I have owned thus far has suffered a break in or theft.
  12. Agreed. The next-generation Aveo needs to be a substantially better product on a massive level.
  13. That is what really kills the Astra for a lot of buyers in my opinion, the price tag. You can justify not buying one by saying "Well, this car that I like a lot better that offers a lot more of what I like is not that much more." The next-generation Astra for North America had better not "thin the heard" as much, figuratively speaking. :AH-HA_wink:

  19. Have you seen their latest projected location? It's very futuristic, indeed!
  20. Holy Gotham City, Batman! :rotflmao: Inspiration: Ms. Sue Johanson's "Hot Stuff" bag. Wonder if the roof twirls and shakes, too? :rotflmao:
  21. Future Chevrolets will be designed for markets outside of North America in mind and they will still offer plenty to be excited about. :AH-HA_wink: And as for the Camry being built to be acceptable in a market outside of North America, well, I am sure that you are aware of a certain brand of negativity attached to the Camry among the European auto press and European buyers. I have an issue of Car from November 2003 that claims the Camry is, "Totally unsuited to Europe" in the buyers guide at the back of the issue. Of course, that was a different generation of Camry, but I do not think the sentiment would change much, really, with the newer generation model.

  23. Well, I am afraid the worst has now happened: His interest in the car cannot be revived. He said that he would rather just keep saving his money and find something in a little better shape for a little bit more. I thought that he was making a mistake, but I found something this morning that is actually making me reconsider my opinion. Scroll down. :AH-HA_wink: Oh, no offense taken. And thanks for answering that question for me. I am actually thinking that dad not buying the car was a good thing now. I found this car not too far away from us that only needs a new hood and the carpet cleaned. According to the description, it only has one spot of rust. It's a '73 Monte and it has better levels of equipment for just a few hundred more than the asking price of the Monte here in town. Take a look: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-monte-...tem110238799029 You are welcome. I am glad to hear you are feeling better!
