  1. Judge the following for yourself. (Hope my posting of Chris's spy shot is not a problem. If it is, any mod can contact me via PM and I will correct this post.)
  2. Alright ... just so long as you don't try and take my or anyone else's hand afterward!
  3. Hmmm ... I'm really wanting to say the idea of the 1er goes back to 1998, but I'm not totally sure. I'll have to dig around in my personal Car & Driver archives here shortly to seek the answer.
  4. I suppose Opel's efforts in the field of automotive prototype camo have actually paid off then. Good for them! :AH-HA_wink:
  5. Well, consider this: the Volt really is an electric car (it's internal-combustion engine is only there as a generator, and it doesn't directly power the car) ... but it has to have an ICE to back up it's electric motors, to recharge the lithium-ion batteries. So, you wouldn't be wrong in assuming that a electric-powered motor has a quite long way to go to before it can achieve the range of a gasoline-powered motor and will more or less need it's aid to be a viable alternative until there is a major breakthrough in electric motor technology. The ICE will still be around for quite a while. :AH-HA_wink:
  6. I don't know an exact date, but I do know the rumors of a sub-3er BMW, in vein of the old 2002, date back pretty far, to at least the late 1990s/early 2000s, if that gives you any idea of how long the company was playing around with the idea.
  7. I'd say it's a safe bet to say it'll be coming Stateside. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. I'm going to get a close friend to suggest "Vision" for me. :AH-HA_wink:
  9. Your post has been corrected. Good day!
  10. You'd probably be much better off trying that "direct combustion" engine (?) someone posted a few months back.
  11. There are no backseats in the Solstice Targa.
  12. Seems like BS. I'm sorry, but they want me to pay how much again for a bloody Ball jar with a bed spring in it? You could make all of that junk they give you in the kit for less than ten dollars.
  13. A silver '09 Vibe was at Adams GMC-Pontiac-Buick. It's not bad ... for a Toyota.
  14. My hair is "dirty," as some would say, but you couldn't tell that given that your "spy photo" was taken with a digital camera costing under fifteen dollars. :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Like myself? :AH-HA_wink:
  16. Uh-oh! Do you see what I see? There's a house right next to Don Job's with your name on it. Don't worry, though. I hear from the other locals his squealing days are coming to an end. :AH-HA_wink:
  17. Well, if your mind decides to waffle, PCS, that's where your "product evaluation" write-off comes in, right? j/k
  18. Better want to start moving now, then. Last I heard, they're going to build one right down the street from that nice gated community of yours up in DE. :AH-HA_wink: Then again, whats to say PA won't get one of their own as well?
  19. See? I knew he'd been out of state, PCS.
  20. He's already driving one per his "product evaluation" excuse. So there's a little irony to whet your appetite. Ah, when the F5 is finally overtaken by the Beretta as per the original plans back from the '80s, Sixty-8 will take care of that for me out of his insanity. (The b-pillar was only the start.) j/k Oh, c'mon. Let's hear what you really want to say. :AH-HA_wink:
  21. Surely he has traveled outside of his own state at least once in his life. Well, then again, he doesn't live in KY like I do, so he doesn't have as good as an excuse to get out more often like I do.
  22. :rotflmao: I'm sure Camino would run him down in his new ST before that would happen, though.
  23. IHOP? Get it right. :AH-HA_wink:
  24. I'll leave it at this: I see I might have stricken some sort of nerve with PCS. He, however, fails to because I've grown desensitized to his campaign over his tenure here. And I know there are sane minds within GM that will make whatever effect he and Mr. Forster & Co. has on the Camaro, G8 ST, and the other Zetas slow moving. I don't question the fact that deck is becoming so stacked to the point where they will wind up as artifacts of the better side of GM that will more than likely forever lay dormant, but there are a small handful more of them coming in the near future, so, yes, by all means let's all enjoy the Zeta cars and what show they manage to put on for us during their time among us. And by the way, PCS, I've had my microwave on the whole time. Mr. Redenbacher makes a mighty good bag, I gotta say. :AH-HA_wink:
