  1. One word: haggle.
  2. Detention
  3. Antiquated (Now, calm down Borger. No need to get malicious. It's all in good, clean fun. )
  4. Around $3.05 a gallon for regular and $3.25 for "hi-test" as my parents call it here in my neck of the woods. Am I worried about a thirty cent price hike? No, actually. Am I pissed off at the sound of it? You bet I am. My :twocents: right there.
  5. Elderly (My, my, this is fun. :rotflmao: )
  6. Over (the hill)
  7. :rotflmao: Josh didn't buy a TL did he?
  8. old (and senile)

  11. I know I'm not part of the fat ass population. I might eat like a fat ass (two burger minimum every time I visit a burger joint), but I only weigh a scant 165 pounds dripping wet. I take great pride in my metabolism.
  12. projectile
  13. "Drinking and Driving" - Black Flag Again, fun driving music.
  14. "Follow" - All That Remains Good driving song.
  15. I'll take Holden's version any day. Sorry Olds, but front-drive A-Bodies suck wind.
  16. The G8 has a sunroof option and a trunk big enough for a six-footer to curl up in. As for the styling, that is a subjective issue; I find the car attractive myself, so to each his own and, yes, the gas tank location brings back nightmares of Ford Pintos burning like Roman Candles, but I'm positive that the G8 won't blow up if you kick it's rear bumper.
  17. Come up and spend a week in Eastern KY. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. How about in terms of today's standards?
  19. Yechh. That car screams "damaged reputation." Well, that and this particular "Pontiac ..." Please, don't get me ranting on the LeMans. I had a friend when I was about six and his mother drove one of those. By far one of the ghastliest-sounding four-pot engines ever made. I don't think Chery could design a car that would look any cheaper than it did.
  20. I would, at most, half-heartedly support a move away from Detroit, but only if the move is restricted to within the United States. Moving outside of the U.S. ... well, why? It wouldn't fix anything. GM HQ moving from the U.S. to Europe would be akin to a dude from the Bronx speaking with a British accent during his vacation to London: it ain't gonna fool no one, as the saying goes.
  21. awkward
  22. Well, you know, it's been said time and time again: a Cobalt with the manual transmission can pull 39 mpgs.
  23. They debuted in 1978 as Simcas so they're out of this timeline.
