  1. HAH! I hope it looks something like my photoshop from the competition. obviously not a perfect chop, but I think that would fit very well into GMC's portfolio
  2. You guys checked out the chop comp yet? some pretty nice lookin GMC chops over there. I feel like the car has potential as a GMC if it is equipped and marketed correctly. It looks pretty upscale in the trim, if nothing else, and seems to fit into the lower end of the lineup nicely.
  3. simple chop, sorta nice lookin, but not great quality
  4. saw this car at the power tour last year, as well as like, literally 10 other ls7 swap projects from gmpp. this thing didnt hold a candle in badassedness to the solstice id still hit it
  5. seems to me that an SSD (solid state drive) would make far more sense in a vehicle application, what with vibrations and bouncing and all. downside is that they are still at a premium. kinda one of those price vs. quality areas, where it may not make sense to spend that much extra for the reliability factor.
  6. caddy coupe on sigma with a TDI v6 and a 6 speed, as well as traditional offerings

    IS500 cpe

it looks....odd. Ill wait till I see a full picture to pass judgement.
  8. they have pills for that now, ya know.go with the Maxx. dont forget to check out what others have to offer though. Im yet to drive a freestyle or 500, but Reg could let you know what he thinks of his.
  9. ok, just couldn't think of any other B names besides brougham...which most definitely does NOT apply to the BLS.
  10. so its not DEVILLE touring sedan, SEVILLE touring sedan, and CATERA touring Sedan? wouldn't the BLS be Biarritz (sp?) Luxury Sedan?
  11. wait wait wait.... they required it to run on premium? its a friggin corolla! the only way I could understand a premium requirement is if it was an XRS, which I dont remember them having the 01 model year. WTF
  12. maybe its not a caddy at all? whats a concept shown recently with an 8 inch wider overall track and a 1.5 inch difference in wheelbase, something that those fenderflares could be hiding pretty well? give ya a hint: Its not the Enclave... just a thought
  13. the stretch did the current design wonders. its ALMOST in proportion now! that said, if it looks like the Bb, Ill hafta learn how not to puke while driving again
  14. wasn't there a RWD RL concept with a V8 in it? IIRC it was at the Tokyo AutoSalon
  15. I actually tink that the production version will look great, interior wise. I see a nice balance of aluminum trim and light gray plastic panels. Id say if it needs anything, that would be some slightly darker spots to accent the brightwork.
  16. I believe the 1997 lincoln mark VII used a neon bar, not a LED, though it was used for safety in that it lit up faster (said to add something like 30 or more feet of stopping room on average based on average reaction times and something like a 55 mph emergency stop) that and it looks damned cool.
  17. my jaw just dropped, literally! any word on the powerplant in this beauty?

omg, I had to actually check up and see that the GRAND CARNIVAL does in fact exist in Europe! first off, what a great way to almost steal a name, but botch the transfer in the process. Caravan makes sense, but carnival? what , are you driving a friggin freak show? but then I noticed the ELEVEN PASSENGER SEATING. GRAND carnival, indeed.
  19. ROFL took me a minute to remember that. I thionk the CLS is a bit piggy looking anyways, so the comment is that much better. having seen roundabout 8 or so in person.... I still friggin hate it. they took everything I liked about MB design (stateliness, refined look, attractive styling) and tossed it out the window.
  20. so, is toyota actually stealing mazdas front end or is that just me? first the new camry, then this? Ill wait till ONE more car is shown with it before I decide.
  21. It is. Carrol Shelby himself played a big part in the development of the viper concept back in 1989(IIRC). The Viper is a direct homage to the great Daytona Coupes.
